The Ministry of Defense boards take out several hundred Russians and CIS citizens from Kabul

The Russian Defense Ministry ordered the preparation of several aircraft for the export of citizens of Russia, the CSTO countries and Ukraine from the territory of Afghanistan. In total, about 500 people are planned to be evacuated from the country captured by the Taliban *.

According to sources, the Ministry of Defense has prepared four aircraft for the export of citizens of Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine from the Kabul airport. Each board will be accompanied by medical personnel. The planes will also be equipped with the necessary set of food, nutrition, medicine and blankets. The decision to send air transport was made by Vladimir Putin, who gave the appropriate orders to Sergei Shoigu. The air group to be sent to Kabul was assembled in Ulyanovsk.



Earlier, the leaders of the Taliban (* a terrorist organization banned in Russia) emphasized their positive attitude towards the Russian Federation and China. The representative of the Qatari branch of the movement, Mohammad Naim, spoke about the need to establish ties with all countries bordering Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzya noted that Moscow will judge the Taliban not by their words, but by their deeds. The Kremlin will closely monitor the development of the situation in Afghanistan.

Russia and other countries are forced to step up efforts to evacuate their citizens from this Central Asian country, as the Taliban made it clear that after August 31, the exit from Afghanistan of foreigners and local residents will be closed.
