US intelligence prepares to declassify document with data on the origin of the new coronavirus
On Tuesday, August 24, US intelligence services presented Joseph Biden with a report with new information on coronavirus infection. However, the intelligence report does not yet contain reliable data on the origin of Covid-19. This is reported by The Washington Post with reference to government officials.
A day earlier, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki noted that the document on the new coronavirus infection would be made public a few days after the President of the United States was familiarized with it. Psaki did not specify in what form these data will be brought to the attention of the public.
As for the quality of the information provided, one of the sources of the American publication noted that scientists, and not intelligence officers, should judge the occurrence of the disease.
Back in May, Biden said that experts had not yet come to a consensus on the origin of the covid. So, some adhere to the version of contact with a sick animal, others defend the point of view of the leakage of the virus from the laboratory of the Wuhan Institute in China. But to this day, researchers have not yet been able to draw a definitive conclusion about how Covid-19 originated. Biden instructed to study this issue in more detail and submit an updated report in 90 days.
PS According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, unvaccinated people are 29 times more likely to get coronavirus than those who received the drug. According to the authors of the study, the vaccine should retain its protective properties against covid for 4-5 months.
