What the Russian liberal opposition is fighting for
The elections are approaching, a war of propagandists and black PR people is in full swing. Pro-government "experts" are racking their brains over how to increase the turnout, "non-systemic" oppositionists, firstly, are fighting United Russia, and secondly, they are proving the depravity, venality and control of the Central Election Commission to Putin and his team.
It is difficult for an ordinary person to understand the revelations of liberal critics: do the houses attributed by the navalists really belong to officials due to their corruption, or is it all about "honest business". Or maybe it's just another fake. Our man knows one thing for sure - modern power in Russia is associated with the wealth and luxury of many of its owners. But he also knows that such a picture is not only in Russia, but also in the West, revered by liberals. And he also knows that the navalnists themselves are also not laborers in factories and factories, and their way of life is far from the average Russian.
The most important question, which is somehow lost in the fuss of propaganda: what system of public organization, in fact, are the liberal oppositionists advocating? They are against Putin, we know that. They are for Western values - everyone knows that. But what kind of "beautiful Russia of the future" do they propose to build?
The leader and central figure of the liberal opposition in Russia is a former nationalist and a man who has made a name for himself in the fight against corruption. For Navalny's supporters, even his name is awe-inspiring for Putin and the Putinists.
Peskov once said that Navalny is a CIA agent. However, a criminal case initiated on the basis of corpus delicti under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "High treason", and no. Apparently, our government believes that the CIA wishes good and prosperity to our state. Although the West's support for the Navalnists directly indicates only one thing - their program is beneficial to the United States, Britain, France, Germany. And what could be better for these countries than the weakening of Russia as a political and economic entity? Of course, liberals, like children, believe in fairy tales that Western oligarchic and government circles are sleeping and dreaming about a rich and independent Russia ... Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Syria, Iran, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba, etc. Here one can only shrug their shoulders, because the leading Western powers act objectively in market conditions, that is, they permanently strive to suppress competitors. Policy in this sense blindly follows the economybecause money always turns out to be higher than abstract values and beautiful declarations.
Navalny's program is the cumulative program of the entire liberal opposition, repeating the provisions of Yabloko and all other parties, political parties, movements and get-togethers.
What are people?
First of all, Navalny in the program advocates "for the power of the people, not the monarchy." But what are the people?
The term "people" is used by all and sundry with a completely arbitrary meaning, while this is a completely scientific category.
The people are not just people living in Russia, and not just citizens of the Russian Federation. It is also wrong to say that the people are just Russians, Tatars, Ukrainians, Bashkirs, Chuvashs, Chechens, Armenians, Avars, Mordovians, Kazakhs, Udmurts, etc., living in Russia. The people are not even just the majority of the population. The people are always something more.
A people is a historically objective social formation, held together by a common economic ties, language, culture, and everyday life and possessing a stable social consciousness in a national or multinational form. Those. the term "people" refers not only to people themselves, but mainly to the social content of their ties with each other. These social ties have extraordinary historical stability, it is practically impossible to destroy them without mass extermination of people or centuries-old assimilation by a higher culture. Speaking "people", from a scientific point of view, we must mean a historically stable collective, and not a simple aggregate of people, civic or nationality. The people have their own interests, craving for freedom, independence, their heroes, national memory, rumor. The people have defenders and those who serve them selflessly. Some shameless leaders cling to the people, trying to appear as their friends. The people also have enemies, those who hate them fiercely.
The people are the greatest force in history. The country is developing by the development of the people. The creative, constructive, military forces of the people are inexhaustible. The people give rise to great personalities in science, culture, politics, and the opposite is never the case.
To consider a political program from the point of view of the interests and needs of the development of the people means to give it an adequate, that is, scientific, assessment.
Is there a monarchy in Russia?
Navalny correctly opposes the power of the people and the monarchy, because the monarchy, with rare exceptions, was the power over the people, the despotism of the privileged possessing estates, cut off from the people. And here in Russia it was also the power of the royal court, connected by origin, culture, language with foreign lords, junkers, lords, pans, counts, dukes much more closely than with the Russian peasant.
However, Navalny speculatively defines Putin's power as a monarchy. The main attribute of the monarchy is the reliance of power on the landowning class. Who hangs, decapitates, expels monarchs and appoints new ones? Boyars, nobles, landlords, cadets, whose estate privileges are legally enshrined, and the total economic power always significantly exceeds that of the royal or royal house.
All modern monarchies in Europe (Britain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Holland, etc.) are not quite monarchies. The institution of monarchy exists, but it is already incorrect to call the form of government a monarchy. The Queen of England fulfills the will and expresses the interests of English financial magnates, not landowners. Therefore, it became possible that the son of the Russian oligarch sits in the House of Lords.
The essence of the program is always economic
For an essential assessment of the program of the liberal opposition, it is necessary to omit all its provisions on the fight against corruption, restructuring the state apparatus, "social sphere", since they are secondary, and often just empty promises and loud slogans. It is necessary to highlight the economic content of the program. Changes in the economy are decisive in relation to the spheres of culture, ideology and even morality.
The central question that Navalny poses in the program is:
In Russia now there is some kind of incomprehensible capitalism, in which the state controls more than half of the economy and commands businessmen. Such a system hinders the development of the country.
Liberal oppositionists, in turn, propose to destroy wrong capitalism and build correct capitalism in its place. They plan to crush the centralized state according to the Chicago Boys' manuals to the point of being a "night watchman." Namely: privatize state property, dismiss superfluous officials, dismiss superfluous security officials, abolish conscription, cut control bodies, turn a pension fund into an investment company, develop federalism by transferring tax collection and powers to governors, prohibit business inspections, cancel tax accounting and switch to Western-style reporting, prohibiting criminal proceedings against businessmen for economic crimes, abolishing taxes on small businesses, and halving insurance premiums on salaries.
Liberal creed through the mouth of Navalny:
"A compact state that provides society with important social and infrastructural services (medicine, education, transport, pension system) with complete non-interference in the country's economic life and the absence of large state monopolies as a class."
The trick is that the implementation of these measures will lead to the fact that American and European corporations will swallow Gazprom, Rosneft, Rosatom, Rostec, Russian Railways, Rostelecom, UAC, USC, RusHydro and even Russian Post, turning them into branches of their transnational networks for pumping out resources, of technologies and brains from the country. They will defeat Russian private corporations in a competitive struggle, finally turning the country's economy into a personnel and raw material appendage of their business.
All power to entrepreneurs!
In Navalny's program, as if mockingly, it says:
The state machine will be reduced in size and placed under strict public control. Entrepreneurs will be free to invest and raise wages. Major transformations will be implemented in the first one or two years - entrepreneurs and citizens will soon feel the change in the economic atmosphere. Russia will quickly move along the path of becoming a developed, prosperous country.
Businessmen will be given a free hand, but not to raise wages, but to implement absolute economic despotism. Exactly with the same slogans they were breaking up the Union: "Down with the state, we need an owner!" What, have salaries increased?
The army of the unemployed will be replenished with millions of dismissed state employees, security officials, oil workers, gas workers, engineers, and public utilities. How will this affect the labor market? Our people have already gone through all this in the 1990s.
In other words, the liberal oppositionists will crush the state in order to cheaply transfer the Russian economy to American, British, German, and French financial conglomerates. And do not care about the people.
Beautiful Russia of the future or Russia without a future
The implementation of the economic program of the liberal opposition will lead to a monstrous socio-economic crisis, mass poverty, and an explosive growth in crime.
Do navalnists really think that hundreds of thousands of security officials thrown into the streets will become farmers? And after all, they will disperse the most seasoned, and careerists with "bright faces" will be left in the police of "the beautiful Russia of the future." As a result, an army of people with operational-search skills and knowledge of the criminal prosecution mechanism will engage in "protection" and racketeering. Moreover, for some of them even today it is a familiar type of activity.
It is also obvious that the implementation of the liberal program will meet with resistance in the national republics. Tatar, Bashkir, Buryat elites, Chechen clans and even Sverdlovsk "authoritative entrepreneurs", sensing the prospect of being left alone with American and European capital, will embark on the path of separatism. Therefore, the implementation of the economic program of the Navalnists will lead, among other things, to the creeping collapse of the country.
And what will China do if the prospect of deploying NATO aircraft looms on its northern borders? Khabarovsk and Vladivostok will finally "get rid of the Muscovites" and again become socialist cities, albeit with Chinese characteristics.
Promises of victory over corruption, economic growth or higher wages were included in the program only to throw dust in the eyes of a naive and gullible voter, since its essence is in the weakening of the state and the subsequent erasure of Russia from the political map of the world.
Navalny proposes to destroy wrong capitalism to the stage of classical capitalism according to Adam Smith with a laissez-faire state. But the fact is that in the modern world, the countries in which US-trained Chicago boys planted XNUMXth-century capitalism are neo-colonies supplying natural and human resources to the collective West. There is no need to go far for examples, it is enough to look at modern Ukraine, in which the state is reduced to the level of a limited liability company.
Whether our people want to finally lose independence and freedom, get bogged down in liberal-democratic anarchy and turn into illegal migrants for Western Europe and the United States is a rhetorical question.
