In Russia announced the launch of transportation on unmanned trucks

The Russian Federation plans to launch drones in three environments: in the air (aviation), on the ground (cars on the roads) and water (ships). About this during an interview with the TV channel "Russia 1" said the first deputy prime minister of the Russian government Andrei Belousov.

The idea is, if we talk about drones on the roads, to launch in the first quarter of 2024 on the M-11 highway ("Neva" - Ed.) Movement for the unmanned transportation of goods, not people, only goods. A person is present in the cockpit, but only intervenes in an emergency

- he announced.

They (unmanned trucks - ed.) Will go in the general flow, this is a matter of principle, no "dedicated lines", because if you make a dedicated movement, it is very expensive

- he added.

Belousov clarified that the same applies to courts. The first route that the Russian authorities want to work out is Ust-Luga - Kaliningrad - Baltiysk. Perhaps Russia will become the first country in the world to launch such an unmanned shipping route. In the future, after 2025, autonomous vessels will start calling at ports.

In addition, Russian Post has signed agreements with a number of regions of the Russian Federation (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug and Kamchatka Territory) for the delivery of cargo by unmanned aircraft. The drones will land and take off using special platforms. He stressed that "nothing will be dropped."

Note that on the M-11 highway (Moscow - St. Petersburg), tolls are charged at most sections. Soon there should appear a section of 59 km long (from 149 to 208 km) bypassing Tver. This will make it possible to exclude the departure of drones on the free federal highway-backup M-10 "Russia" (Moscow - St. Petersburg). On the M-11, special platforms for unmanned trucks will be created so that they do not enter cities.

The Russian authorities plan to include 19,5 thousand km of federal roads in the "unmanned corridors" by 2030. This will increase the commercial speed by 25% (from 60 to 75 km / h) for delivery of goods within a day and will reduce the cost of transportation by more than 10%.

Unfortunately, it is not yet known how the above will affect the employment of the population in the future. Especially in those professions that will be affected by unmanned transport.

This happens in all areas - automation and robotization, deserted technologies. Rostselmash makes unmanned harvesters. CNC machines, welding robots, video cameras instead of road inspectors, software instead of accountants and lawyers, warehouses are automated, there will be no sellers in stores, etc. etc. Where will people earn money? Will they just distribute so that everything does not close? The crisis of capitalism is evident.

It remains only to teach robots to eat instead of people ...

In general, from enterprises built with public money, each member of this society should receive his share of the dividend.

The delivery of parcels was already announced - the drone of the Russian Post for delivering parcels took off for the first time - and immediately crashed into the house.
