The secret of the "Bermuda Triangle" is revealed

A stretch of the Atlantic Ocean, located between Florida, Bermuda and Puerto Rico, has long enjoyed a bad reputation. In 1950, journalist Edward Van Winkle Jones called this place "the sea of the devil." And in 1964 the name “Bermuda Triangle” appeared with a light hand of the writer Vincent Gaddis, which became famous throughout the world.

It is believed that in this part of the oceans unexplained phenomena occur, leading to the disappearance of large ships and aircraft. According to some reports, only in the last century, the Bermuda Triangle swallowed about a hundred of them without a trace. Some people pointed to temporary anomalies occurring there and the effect of lightning-fast movement in space. Enthusiastic researchers even point out reports that while traveling in search of India by Christopher Columbus, his team saw some night light in the ocean in the indicated area, and the compass needle behaved in an unnatural way. It is widely known that in the Bermuda Triangle in 1945, a link from five American Avenger bombers disappeared. In 1965, there also disappeared without a trace the S-119 plane with 10 people on board.

Enthusiastic imaginative researchers offer a variety of theories to explain the anomalies that are occurring. Some believe that ships and aircraft disappear in temporary holes and spatial faults. Others that the unfortunate are abducted by aliens from other planets or the inhabitants of the sunken Atlantis hiding on the ocean floor.

Sane critics rightly point out that ships and planes are disappearing around the world, attention to the incidents in the "Bermuda Triangle" is attracted only because of the untwisted brand. For example, the Boeing of Malaysian airlines missing over the ocean has not yet been found. The lack of signals for help can be explained by many reasons, from the malfunction of the radio to the suddenness of the disaster itself. The most adequate theories explaining the scientific disappearance into the “sea of the devil” without a trace are the following.

The sudden release of methane from the bottom of the sea. Because of this, the density of water and atmosphere instantly decreases, leading to instant flooding of ships and the fall of aircraft.

Infrasound impact on crew. It turns out that the sea is capable of generating it under certain conditions, having a strong panic effect on the team, forcing it to hurry and unreasonable to abandon it.

The most rational, from the point of view of scientists at the University of Southampton, is the explanation of the tragedies in the "Bermuda Triangle" sporadically emerging killer waves. Their height can exceed 30 meters, and they are literally taken from nowhere. Thanks to this, they are able to turn over and flood even a large vessel. To test their theory, British scientists in the laboratory simulated the effect of a “blast wave” on the model of the USS Cyclops, which disappeared into the “Devil’s Sea” exactly one hundred years ago with three hundred passengers and crew members. The experiment confirmed the possible involvement of "killer waves" in the deaths of ships in the "Bermuda Triangle."
