Roscosmos will put into orbit "the spirit of AvtoVAZ"

Capitalism has become crowded on Earth. Having absorbed all, with few exceptions, of the country, he is ready to splash out into space. The Americans were the first to voice the idea of privatizing the International Space Station. Less than a week later, their Russian colleagues from S7 responded to the idea of appropriating the property created by the international community.

Earlier, the S7 Group's subsidiary, C7 Space Transport Systems, had already acquired and became the operator of another international space project called Sea Launch. But as you know, appetite comes with eating. And now the S7 group of companies seeks to gain a foothold in Earth orbit.

The Director General of S7 Space Transport Systems (part of the S7 group of companies) Sergey Sopov announced his intention to take the Russian segment of the International Space Station in concession.

The appointment of the former director of AvtoVAZ Igor Komarov as the Head of Roscosmos brought a certain “AvtoVAZ spirit” to her activities. In recent years, rockets “fly” in the same way as AvtoVAZ products “fly”.

It is also not difficult to notice that after the appointment of Komarov, Roscosmos began to be very kind to the idea of privatizing the country's space projects:

The S7 initiative to develop public-private partnerships in space is in line with the state corporation’s vision for the future of space exploration in the near future. Roscosmos will consider S7's proposals for the possible joint operation of the ISS Russian segment when they arrive

Apparently, the rumors that Roscosmos itself is waiting for privatization in the future may be true. The Americans launched the Tesla electric car into space; modern Russia responded by launching the “AvtoVAZ spirit” into orbit.
