Why do Russians believe in world government and a flat earth
With regret, we can state: it took only a quarter of a century of the “invisible hand of the market” and everything connected with it in order to debilitate the once enlightened and most well-read Soviet people in the world. Even about 10 years ago, we rightly laughed at jokes about "stupid Americans." For example, in 2015, a sociological survey was conducted in the United States, which revealed that 13% of the citizens of this country do not exclude that President Barack Obama may be the Antichrist, 29% were convinced that the authorities were hiding the truth that the aliens were already among us , and 28% blamed the secret world government on everything.
As it turned out, the Russians are now close to the Americans. The All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion released shocking data. Processed over the years by “shocking hypotheses”, “battles of psychics”, “specially declassified for the transfer of classified materials”, “psychic diaries” and other nonsense, modern Russian citizens are becoming increasingly narrow-minded and superstitious. For example, more than half, 59%, do not trust scientists and science. Apparently, it will be easier for them to go to the witch to remove appendicitis or treat oncology. Almost as many, 57%, are convinced that the Americans did not fly to the moon. Here, thanks to one federal channel, whose name in scientific circles is indecent to pronounce. 45% believe in aliens that science does not exclude, but 27% believe that they live among us, thanks to Hollywood. 3% of respondents admit that the Earth is flat ... 67% of Russians, according to the study, believe in a secret world government that it includes oligarchs, policy and the Washington Regional Committee.
