It became known that the price of gas at the largest in Europe Dutch virtual trading platform Title Transfer Facility (TTF) set a record in 13 years - 29,575 euros / MWh (euros / MWh), which is almost six times higher than the same indicator in 2020. Market experts believe that the rise in prices is directly related to the low volumes of gas in European UGS facilities. Active gas, i.e. recoverable, in UGS facilities in Europe is now at 33 billion cubic meters. m less compared to the same period last year. According to Gas Infrastructure Europe, out of more than 66 billion cubic meters. m of gas taken from European UGS facilities in the last heating season, as of June 14, only 13,6 billion cubic meters were replenished. m - the minimum volume for comparable periods.
