Russia is confidently restoring its tractor industry

The Rostselmash company has started the construction of the first large tractor plant in the modern history of Russia. This is an important event for our country, since despite last year's record growth in agricultural exports, it is with tractors that we are not doing well.

So, when compared with other states, the tractor fleet in Russia is in a deplorable state. We have only 1000 machines per 3 hectares of agricultural land, while in Austria - 239, Germany and Spain - 83, and in Belarus - 8. In addition, about 60% of our tractors are outdated both morally and and physically.

Today, the production of wheeled tractors in Russia is carried out by the Minsk Tractor Plant, which has localized production in Cherepovets, and more powerful tracked and wheeled vehicles are produced by the Petersburg Tractor Plant and Rostselmash.

The new facility, which started construction in June, will produce heavy tractors, including tracked vehicles based on the 3000 series, as well as the brand new 1000 series with a classic layout. Later, it is also planned to establish the production of a new generation of tractors with a capacity of 170-250 hp.

It is reported that after commissioning, the enterprise will be able to produce about 3-6 thousand tractors per year. It's not bad, but so many equipment will not cover the domestic needs of the country. Today, domestic farms buy about 10 thousand tractors a year, and this is only to compensate for the deprecated machines.

However, Russia is not alone in Rostselmash. Do not forget about the Petersburg Tractor Plants concern, which this week signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Minsk plant. According to preliminary estimates, the merger of the aforementioned enterprises will not only reduce the cost of production and ensure the growth of sales in the domestic market by up to 30%, but will also increase our exports by 5 times. All this suggests that in Russia for the first time in modern history there has been a good trend towards the restoration of tractor construction.

30 years have passed since the Union collapsed. And it just dawned on them that the country needed tractors! Without a war, everything was ruined and cut for scrap, and now they boast that they have begun to build. It was not necessary for 30 years, now they will build for 30 years! Not built yet, but screeching, screeching!

Are there communists here? Who are happy with new productions. To the success of Russia. Who are happy with the sanctions from the bourgeoisie? Who are ready to tighten their belts for a brighter future

Or are there only emo comms who need to be given a handkerchief after every such news?

PS your clowns-idols emo-leaders (Platoshkin and Rashkin) have already been put in a stall and you have spent all the revolutionary activity at home. How long ?!

For Putin's Russia, to release a tractor is already an event. Especially in the future tense.

in Putin's Russia, it is unrealistic to find an oppositionist who did not tolerate a whine of a forum.
Because the wet oppositionists have a spirit made of dung
And instead of the brace - the filling from the waffle

You nicely tolerate Putin's mode?) Because soft material is laid in the foundations - and all your antics on the forum are from the realization of your place in Putin's Russia)

PS Whining and suffering for 20+ years is hard for the psyche. Everything is accumulating. Hysteria is the mildest of manifestations. Alarm bell

If not the communists, Russia Nicholas 2 by 1941 would have had an atomic bomb!

Such nonsense is carried by the Zaputins

And always, when on a fair comment, for example:

... it only dawned on the Zaputinskys, like a giraffe, after a quarter of a century, and then ... in the future tense ...

... the transition to personalities follows, you understand that they have nothing to "cover" with.

There is such a concept - redneck. It means, among other things: "though I get tired of it, I don’t admit it." This is for the style of "argumentation" of the Zaputites, and not for you personally, P ... Alexander ... You at least have the ability to interfere coherently with insults, though not hearing what they say to you and not bothering to answer the "arguments"

          Do not fence outright nonsense.

In the field of agriculture, the technique is different, a lot of German second-hand.
          Machines with a long resource.
They are being replaced by Russian technology.
Everything is determined by the price-quality-subsidies (if any).

No, Ulysses, quite the opposite. Agricultural holdings in Russia have become the largest in the world. The land belongs to those who drive the equipment from south to north into the sowing area, as the heat moves and vice versa into the harvesting area. Everyone envies it publicly and without hiding ... The French, Germans, etc. ... And here reliability is important. This is the main thing ...

In short, the Rostselmash tractor is still a rarity. And auxiliary work ... Plus, For several years now they have been "strangling" in agricultural machinery (seeders, winnowing machines ...) us and Ukraine ...

Here's a strange thing ... the covid made it possible to seriously block these "deliveries", and before that there was neither war, nor quality, Ukrainian sales to Russia. The mudflow did not stop the machinery.

Our region from south to north is 108 kilometers.
              There is enough reliability. smile
I do not deny that there are still more "Germans", simply because of the conditions prevailing in the 90s.
However, good equipment is coming to the region from Russia.
The question is in the terms of purchase (leasing, etc.).

PS The quality of new Western technology has dropped dramatically over the past 10-15 years.
              "Managers beat constructors."
Judging by the cars, perhaps the situation with agricultural equipment is somewhat different.

In 91, under Gaidar's screams about the "non-competitiveness of Soviet technology," the factories were closed, and now, 30 years later, a test flight of an aircraft or the exit of a tractor from the factory is presented as a sensation.

The fact that in the Russian Federation at least something is being done in the right direction is certainly pleasing, but if you go through the provincial factories, then, alas, you will not see such workshops.

This comparison confuses me. 239 and 83, and even more so 8, the difference is huge. It seemed so much with our three tractors in a row ... But what is characteristic, Belarus, Germany and, oddly enough, Russia are present in the TOP 20 leading countries-producers of agricultural products, but Austria with 239 tractors is not request
    https://glavagronom.ru/news/top-20-vedushchih-stran-proizvoditeley-selskohozyaystvennoy-produkcii

If you look at the sales statistics for the dock 2019, 6,9 thousand tractors (-10,9%) were produced, including 5,8 thousand (-14%) for agricultural purposes, the share of domestic manufacturers in the market is 51,1% ... Moreover, the same Rostselmash reduced production by -9,5%.
Sales of tractors to villagers decreased by 16%.
More than 4 thousand tractors were exported.

Russia buys (imports from 25 countries) tractors 14 times more than it sells.
In 2019, the import of tractors to Russia amounted to an impressive volume - 90,5 thousand units. (-18,2% by 2018) in physical terms or $ 1,3 billion (-20,1%) in monetary terms.

    https://os1.ru/article/25652-proizvodstvo-i-rynok-selhoztraktorov-v-rossii-v-2019-g

The main part of imports is mini tractors from China and Japan (from there, as far as I understand, mostly second-hand).

At the same time, the volume of subsidies reimbursing the costs of manufacturing and selling tractor products was reduced from 25% in 2018 to 15% in 2019.

In general, this is more about import substitution, production growth, sales markets for billions of dollars, than about the needs of the villagers. The plant will be built, the state will help, sales will be subsidized, GDP will grow, jobs and wages, and so on. All this is wonderful, but I would like the villagers themselves not to remain strangers at this celebration of life. In order for them to get the very same mini tractors, the Russian ones squeezed out Japanese used ones from the market and, preferably, in terms of a set of characteristics (price, quality), and not just a ban on imports.
Well, I would also like to wish the tractors in the pursuit of profit not to adopt someone else's experience, like this one.

    Better adopt the domestic experience.
