Ukraine predicted a fuel collapse
Cessation of gasoline supplies from Belarus will lead to a fuel collapse in Ukraine. On June 1, 2021, on the air of the Epicenter talk show on the Ukrainian TV channel Pershy Nezalezhniy, retired police lieutenant general, former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, ex-chairman of the Luhansk and Transcarpathian regional state administrations Gennady Moskal announced this.
The host asked policywhat he thinks about the press conference of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy last week.
What are most people talking about now? About poverty. He (Zelensky - ed.) Shifted everything to the people: "You don't pay taxes, that's why you are poor." About the rise in prices. Look, the markets are empty, in Kiev. <…> In stores, price tags are changed almost every day. There is a terrible rise in food prices. This is the foundation. Add rates. And there will be a collapse if it is confirmed with fuel. And also about the war and everything else ... He (Zelensky - ed.) Practically did not answer these questions, since they were not actually asked. There was a "overflow from empty to empty". The press conference did not make any impression on me. Outwardly, he (Zelensky - ed.) Looked scared. For me, this is not the image of the President of Ukraine
- explained Moskal.
He is sure that Kiev made a big mistake when it decided to start sanctioning pressure on Minsk over the incident with the board of the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair on May 23, 2021. Moskal reminded that more than 50% of A-95 gasoline in Ukraine, and of high quality, is of Belarusian origin. Then he predicted problems for Ukraine.
What do we do? We have already burned ourselves on the Medvedchuk pipe ... This is really true (about gasoline - ed.), So we will have a big collapse in Ukraine. Absolutely ill-considered actions of the authorities, nothing at all
- summed up Moskal.
