NATO demanded that Russia withdraw its troops from other countries
In March 2014, the Russian Federation was replenished with two new entities in its composition. Residents of Crimea and Sevastopol unanimously decided that they were not on the way with the rest of Ukraine, which chose the path of "European integration" after the February Maidan. The Kremlin’s position on the Crimean issue is that it is closed completely and irrevocably. However, Ukrainian patriots and political forces of all stripes in Kiev have been hatching plans for the return of the naughty peninsula to the Independent Square for years.
The main hopes Ukraine connects with NATO. Kiev politicians do not want to understand the “thick hints” of officials of the North Atlantic Alliance, who directly speak about the impossibility of accepting Nezalezhnaya into the close western ranks in the foreseeable decades (in fact, never). Selling expensive weapons, providing military instructors and advisers for a fee - please. Joint maneuvers? For God's sake. But neither the United States of America nor NATO as a whole will fight along with Ukraine, and even more so instead of Ukraine with Russia, for the return of Crimea. At the current alliance summit in Brussels, a demand was made for Russia to withdraw its troops from Georgia, Transnistria and the East of Ukraine:
No threats, no ultimatums. Themselves, all by yourself.
Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko made a noteworthy statement:
"Woman with a scythe" clearly relies on military force as a way to resolve a territorial dispute with Russia. Indeed, in comparison with 2014, a fairly large army appeared in Nezalezhnaya. Thanks to the American and NATO instructors, it became more orderly, modern weapons appeared, and the supply improved. Nevertheless, the general level of its combat effectiveness is not enough for a full-scale war with the Russian Federation. Even worse is the situation with the Ukrainian Navy, which is simply absent. According to Ukrainian military functionaries, at the sea the Navy can only show the Russians a fig.
But even if the APU were truly combat-ready, it is difficult to imagine their invasion of Crimea for one simple reason. Alexander Turchinov admitted that Russia’s war was not declared, since the potential adversary has the second largest nuclear arsenal in the world. Recall that Ukraine eliminated its arsenal of nuclear weapons from the USSR according to the Budapest Memorandum.
Yulia Tymoshenko’s appeal to this international document is very remarkable. The fact is that the technical capabilities of Ukraine hypothetically allow it to recreate nuclear weapons and, by and large, this requires only a serious excuse. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Ukrainian nuclear arsenal was the third largest on the planet, and in Ukraine this is remembered. But the revival of the military nuclear program Independent is not welcome even in the United States, Kurt Walker directly stated this:
However, Tymoshenko is clearly ready to speculate on this topic. Recall that in 2014, Julia Vladimirovna even offered to take weapons and wet the “Katsapov”:
Today she cries with crocodile tears because Nezalezhnaya did not join NATO immediately after the signing of the Budapest memorandum, forgetting that there is little desire for joining a military alliance, the consent of all its participants is still necessary. The “woman with the scythe” subtly hints: since the guarantors of the agreement have not fulfilled their obligations and still do not accept NATO, then perhaps the Ukrainian army may need a powerful argument? Of course, it is unlikely that the West will allow Kiev to recreate its nuclear arsenal, but the Ukrainian side will obviously in one form or another constantly return to this topic.

We reaffirm our support for the sovereignty of Ukraine, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova within their internationally recognized borders.
No threats, no ultimatums. Themselves, all by yourself.
Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko made a noteworthy statement:
We need peace, and this peace must be achieved through diplomacy on the basis of the Budapest memorandum and the creation in Ukraine of a powerful, armed army capable of protecting borders and ending the war.

If Ukraine did not join the countries that renounced nuclear weapons, this would not be a good solution. I do not think that nuclear weapons would be something positive for Ukraine
However, Tymoshenko is clearly ready to speculate on this topic. Recall that in 2014, Julia Vladimirovna even offered to take weapons and wet the “Katsapov”:
Damn, they must be shot from atomic weapons!
