Trump said, “Let's see.” Ukraine aroused, Russia too early to rejoice

1
It seems that in Washington the position on the Crimea is really ready to move. If immediately after the reunification of the peninsula with Russia, stubborn western policy, including the Americans, argued that Crimea is Ukrainian territory, now firm foreheads are breaking into harsh reality.

US President Donald Trump, on board a plane bound for New Jersey, answered the questions of the journalists right along the way. He said that previous US President Barack Obama “lost” the Crimean peninsula, as he admitted his accession to the Russian Federation.

Answering a question from one of the journalists whether Washington can recognize Crimea as Russian, Trump said: “We'll see.” The same word was uttered by Trump in response to a question regarding the lifting of anti-Russian sanctions:

We will look at the actions of Russia

It is impossible not to recall that in mid-June about Trump's new position in the Crimea already mentioned in the publication of the BuzzFeed portal. Journalists reported, citing diplomatic sources, that the head of state on the sidelines of the G-XNUMX summit in Quebec said that Crimea can be considered Russian, since most of its residents speak Russian.

However, then this information and its sources raised questions. The White House refused to confirm or refute it: the official representative of the administration of the American president, Sarah Sanders, said that she did not know anything about it, since she was not present at informal meetings.

For his part, the press secretary of the head of the Russian state Dmitry Peskov said:

I can not comment on so many deceitful News, because I’m not sure of their reliability

As for the reaction of Kiev to that publication, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Pavel Klimkin, suggested that these words of the US president were “taken out of context”.

After that, jokes on the topic of what Donald Trump needed to be entered into the database of the infamous site “Peacemaker” (collecting data of the so-called “enemies” of Independent Square) first crawled across Ukraine. And then Trump really appeared on this site. True, not for long (apparently, the editorial office of the site called from above, ordering to remove the page with a portrait of the American president).

Now, it is actually confirmed that the head of the United States is really ready to soften his country's position regarding Crimea and the anti-Russian sanctions related to the Crimean issue. Ukrainian social media users express their indignation, call Trump an agent of Russia and even advise him to "look at Russian Alaska." Former US Ambassador to Moscow Michael McFaul, on his Twitter blog, wonders, “Seriously?” It cannot be ruled out that the portrait of Trump will once again show off at the Peacemaker.

If we leave aside the emotions of Ukrainian users, it becomes obvious: Russia is too early to rejoice. The US president so far intends only to "look" at the actions of Moscow. Consequently, Washington’s position on the Crimean issue can be linked to any conditions that Trump will present to Vladimir Putin. And the problems during the meeting of the heads of the two states will be very different - from Syria to disarmament. One can only guess what Trump may demand in exchange for a promise to lift sanctions and recognize the Crimean Peninsula as part of the Russian Federation.

Trump Pam Pam! He said that, said this. And who is he? And what about his worldview? Crimea do not care about Trump. Crimea Russian, are there any doubts? These are the problems of doubters.
