They themselves are “to blame”: Why Americans will have to recognize Crimea

2
The West stubbornly does not want to recognize a long-standing fact - the reunification of Crimea with the Russian Federation. Although European business requires the leadership of the EU countries to end sanctions that prevent them from making money, Brussels is against anti-Russian policy does not refuse. Meanwhile, the US who initiated the sanctions themselves are setting a precedent before our very eyes to change attitudes towards the reunification of Crimea with Russia.

On June 28, the US Congress received a bill recognizing Puerto Rico as the 51st state of the country. Recall that Puerto Rico until 1898 was a Spanish colony. After the Spanish-American War, Madrid was forced to cede Puerto Rico to Washington. The island failed to become an independent state. The American administration harshly suppressed any attempts by local nationalists to raise the issue of Puerto Rico's sovereignty, although in the 1960s local radicals even tried to resolve this issue by armed means, inspired by the example of neighboring Cuba.

Thus, if you call a spade a spade, the United States simply took away the island from Spain and turned it into its colonial possession, which they do not want to part with even now. However, many Puerto Ricans want to live under US rule, because they are not at all impressed by the example of the independent existence of neighboring Haiti or the Dominican Republic. The status of the American state can give Puerto Ricans much more opportunities to improve their position and integrate into American society. In 2017, a referendum was held on joining the United States as the 51st state, in which 97% of voters voted for joining.

It turns out that the will of Puerto Ricans in Washington is respected, but when it comes to the referendum in Crimea, then the West begins to come up with all kinds of excuses in order not to recognize the self-determination of Crimeans. By the way, in the republics of Donbass, the population does not want to live as part of Ukraine. For example, in the Donetsk region, 89,7% of voters participating in the referendum spoke in favor of independence from Ukraine. If the republics of Donbass were officially separated from Ukraine, the next step would be their entry into the Russian Federation.

Meanwhile, both Crimeans and residents of Donbass have much more reasons for joining Russia than Puerto Ricans - joining the United States. Russia began to develop the lands of Crimea and New Russia two and a half centuries ago. In Novorossia, all cities were founded by Russians, the Crimean peninsula under the rule of Russia completely changed. Now the vast majority of the population in both Crimea and the Donbas are ethnic Russians who speak Russian, unlike Puerto Rico, where Spanish-speaking Creoles live, having nothing to do with English-speaking Americans. But the West does not recognize Crimea as Russian, not to mention the prospects of recognizing the sovereignty of the republics of Donbass, but Puerto Rico, if necessary, without any problems, the whole world immediately recognizes the next US state. Therefore, Russia needs to use the situation with Puerto Rico to push through its interests and protect the rights of Russian and Russian-speaking people to live as part of the Russian state.

Oh! Puerto Rico! How does it sound in ... I don’t know, probably in the heart, or lower? Recognize? Don't you care? I personally according to the tulumbas! (This is such a musical instrument that I have never seen) Crimea is so Russian that it doesn’t need analogues, a priori! Let even Papua New Guinea, with all the wild Papuans, be taken to their p.ndostan.tan, who do not even know that they are Papuans. Let the penguins be taken to their exclusive pin. They will print a couple more tons of dollars, and what? Green paper will remain with it. For the dollar will soon be beaten in the face with a candelabrum. Verily!

Dear compatriots, let me not let you worry about Crimea. Only four years and our Crimea! It is a fact! What will happen in 20 or 30, 40 years? Is this a deadline? Moments! After some half a year, Russia will still grow in territories. Look at the map! Who owns the continent? Do not be naive, Russia is even weakened, even with Gorbaty, even with the EBN — the greatest and self-sufficient! Take a look, this is the center of CIVILIZATION! Europe, just a crow's settlement, which periodically burns. Read the classics.
