Merkel is betting on the destruction of Europe

Europe is heading towards humiliating and unworthy doom. This opinion was expressed by Peter Hoot, editor-in-chief of the German publication Welt am Sonntag. Today, the European Union is a patchwork of several strong and many weak states living at their expense. Moreover, it is precisely the countries that are counting on a pan-European financial piggy bank that are often the ones that lead the Old World to a split.

For example, Hungary, contrary to integration processes, is actively building a nation-state. Following her is Italy, which defiantly refuses to accept refugees.

One of the most annoying problems of a united Europe today is migrants from disadvantaged countries. The influx of bearded men and refugees from the poorest countries of Africa, the Middle East and Asia, wrapped up in their very eyes, has led to a real crisis of European solidarity. Natives of predominantly Muslim countries are happy to receive generous social benefits and housing at the expense of local taxpayers, but they do not want to assimilate at all. Places of their compact residence often turn into criminal cesspools, where even law enforcement officials are afraid to go in groups. Many refined Europeans, brought up in the spirit of tolerance and multiculturalism, are still ready to tolerate arrogant visitors from permissiveness, but others are already fed up with it all.

In Germany leading the economy The European Union, due to the migration problem flared up real political a crisis. Chancellor Angela Merkel has been pursuing an extremely liberal policy on migrants for many years. With its submission, under the slogan “We can do it,” Berlin once again allowed a million refugees into its country. She believes that she is building a society free of racism. But for some reason, the newcomers are sincerely convinced that it is not they, but the indigenous population, who needs to adapt to them. They call German women without a burqa prostitutes, are forbidden to celebrate Christian holidays, etc.

In Germany, on the eve of a sociological survey, which showed: 43% of Germans believe that Angela Merkel should pay for her migration policy and leave the post of chancellor. Over 70% of German residents are convinced that Merkel will not be able to find a consensual solution at the upcoming European Union summit on the issue of refugee reception. The political opponent of the chancellor is Home Secretary Horst Seehofer, who insists on tightening German refugee policies. It is no secret that migrants travel to Germany through the countries of southern Europe. Seehofer argues that refugees must remain in the countries where they were registered upon arrival.

Even many supporters of the current chancellor are confident that she is not able to solve the migration problem created largely thanks to her. In this situation, Angela Merkel faces a difficult choice. She can voluntarily resign, leaving others to disentangle the porridge brewed by her. Or Merkel can go for re-election, trying to rely on the Green Party, which are in solidarity with her in her liberal views. But in any case, what is happening is a serious political crisis that could undermine the very foundation of the European Union in the person of Germany.
