Russia accuses Ukraine of sabotage, Kiev threatens Russia with missiles

Russia has accused the Armed Forces of Ukraine of sabotaging Kiev’s obligations regarding the withdrawal of weapons in the Donbass and the withdrawal of forces. The Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE, Dmitry Balakin, during a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna, cited specific facts of Ukrainian violations:

The regime of silence in the Village of Lugansk lasts for almost a month since May 23, but the APU does not begin the breeding of forces. At the sites in Zolotoy and Petrovsky are still the Ukrainian military

Balakin recalled that during a recent meeting of the Norman Four Foreign Ministers, the Russian side raised the question that Ukraine was violating the Contact Group framework decision adopted on September 21, 2016. So, the Ukrainian authorities continue to draw strength to the line of contact. Only from June 12-19, OSCE observers discovered 53 units of heavy weapons of the Ukrainian army, which are located in violation of the package of measures to implement the Minsk agreements.

The Russian representative noted that there was a very difficult situation around the Donetsk filter station, since the APU maintain their positions very close to this important facility. At the same time, the Ukrainian side sounds, as he put it, crafty accusations against the DPR defenders, as if they were the first to move to the Donetsk filter station. Such accusations only fuel conflict.

In addition, he drew attention to the fact that shelling of densely populated areas of Donbass from the Ukrainian side continues. Since June 12, there have been 13 such shellings, in their course civilians suffered. The Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation cited data from the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission, according to which the Kuybyshevsky district of Donetsk, Kirovsk, Zhelobok, Dokuchaevsk, Kominternovo, Krasny Partizan and other settlements were subjected to shelling.

Meanwhile, in parallel with attacks on civilians in the Donbass, Ukraine, through the mouth of its military, also threatens Russia. So, one of the prominent Ukrainian generals, the former deputy head of the General Staff, Igor Romanenko, argues that Kiev needs to develop ballistic missiles with a flight range of thousands of kilometers. This is necessary so that Russia can be demoralized.

In an interview with the Ukrainian edition of Obozrevatel, he even outlined which cities the supposed missiles should reach:

To Moscow, to St. Petersburg. This is no joke. This is a very serious moment.

At the same time, Romanenko also referred to the experience of the Second World War. In fact, he compared Russia with Nazi Germany, as well as with Japan.

The Germans were very cheeky, felt confident until they began to bomb Berlin. Remember also the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Such moments very strongly affect society and unambiguously affect the government

- said the Ukrainian general.

According to his forecasts, the development of such weapons will take about two years. But to produce them is very problematic, since international agreements suggest that the range of a ground-to-ground missile should not exceed 300 kilometers.

At least on a day like June 22, the Ugro-General should remember which country defeated Nazi fascism. Well, of course, you should think about it before mentioning the American atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in a similar context. In any case, the Kiev regime will be weaker than the States of the time of Truman, and Russia is not the then Japan.
