The incredible adventures of foreigners in Russia

0
At the 2018 FIFA World Cup, tens of thousands of foreign guests from all over the world arrived in Russia from Uruguay to Japan, from Saudi Arabia to Switzerland. Guests are delighted with Russian hospitality.

In the cities of the championship, foreign fans are very welcome. But, nevertheless, a number of curious and not very stories happened to the foreigners. For example, in Rostov-on-Don, a group of Swiss citizens came to the Brazil-Switzerland match to book the Selivanov Hotel on Selivanova Street. But it turned out that there was no such hotel on the indicated street. Perplexed foreigners began to find out what was the matter. It turned out that the Swiss simply mixed up Rostov-on-Don and Rostov the Great and booked a hotel in the distant city of the Golden Ring, and not in the southern capital.

Foreign guests generally behave appropriately. At the Rostov Stadium Rostov-Arena, fans from Saudi Arabia, for example, staged a garbage collection campaign, and even guests from the VIP zone took part in it.

Fans from Senegal, as well as Japan, Brazil and Argentina did not lag behind.

But the Swiss were noted. Either because of the lack of public toilets, or because of the great emotions associated with the defeat of the team, a group of Swiss men chose to get rid of excess beer directly on the Voroshilovsky bridge, which leads to the Rostov-Arena stadium.

A cardboard with a photograph of the Mexican Javier circled all over Russia. A sad bearded man dressed in a T-shirt with the inscription "Mi vieja no me dejo" (the old woman did not let me in). Javier’s wife decided that traveling to Russia was far and expensive and forbade her husband from such an exciting trip. Maybe for the better - one Brazilian fan in Rostov-on-Don in the evening before the match “Brazil - Switzerland” was taken to the hospital from a restaurant with severe alcohol intoxication. As a result, the guy never watched the match.

An elderly German Hubert Wirth arrived in Russia on a 1936 tractor. He overcame an impressive distance by traveling through Poland and Belarus, for which the Moscow City Hall allocated a brave traveler who had been traveling for about a month for a free ticket for the match on June 17. But Germany, as you know, lost this match, so Mr. Wirth remained in frustrated feelings.

Hubert Wirth is not the only extreme traveler. Several foreigners traveled from one city to another by bicycle. So did the Australians, British, Portuguese, but the guests from Saudi Arabia drove in a convoy under national flags before the match with Uruguay.

Unfortunately, there were some spicy excesses. A 34-year-old citizen of the PRC turned to the Moscow police. The day before, the woman met two young people who introduced themselves as fans from Argentina, and had a pleasant time with them. Everything would be fine, but the men tried to remove the joys on the smartphone. When the Chinese woman came to her senses, she decided that the videos could go on the Internet, and urgently contacted the police. Moscow law enforcement officers quickly found the womanizer - fans of the 18+ video and seized the record from them. The funny thing is that the "Argentines" turned out to be natives of Russian Pyatigorsk of Transcaucasian origin. They were completely at a loss and claimed to the police that the Chinese woman liked everything so much that she even gave them $ 30 “for cognac”.
