Volunteer path
The life path that brought him here was not easy. In the late eighties he served in the French army, in the 13th parachute-dragoon regiment. The unit in which the paratrooper was a member was engaged in surveillance of Soviet military bases in Eastern European countries. He later served in Corsica, in several African countries, and in Myanmar.
By nationality, Herouan is not a Frenchman, but a Breton, a representative of the French national minority belonging to the Celtic group. After retiring, he returned to his homeland, in Brittany, where he engaged in wrestling and the performance of Breton folk songs. At the same time, he joined the supporters of the separation of Brittany from France, which displeased the French authorities. Still, a career officer and an army veteran suddenly became a separatist!
He left France for Guiana, where he settled in a small Indian village. Being on the edge of the Earth, he did not become a hermit, but was actively interested in world events. In 2014, he was shocked by the death of 48 civilians in Odessa and the ensuing events in the Donbass. Then his girlfriend on social networks, a girl from Lugansk, suffered during a Ukrainian air raid.

Can a Frenchman become a conductor of the idea of the Russian world?
Of course, Eruan is not a mercenary; he came to the Donbass for ideological reasons. Paradoxical as it may sound, he is an ardent supporter of the idea of the Russian world.
For him, the Donbass is an outpost and the heart of the Russian world, for which he is ready to fight. At first glance, this may seem strange. What does a former French officer have to do with the Russian idea?
Eruan sincerely believes that rapprochement with Russia can save Europe from degradation. The Russian mentality presupposes a real tolerance that cannot be found now in Western countries. After all, the West is trying to impose its value system on everyone and is ready to do it even by force. The Russian world opposes such a dictate. Aggressive colonialist is alien to us policy and the idea of a multipolar world is closer.
Globalist views should not be confused with European values. The Russian world is not the antipode of Europe; rather, it is part of it, the most healthy part. And only he, according to the former captain of the French army, is able to save the great European civilization from extinction.
And the republics of Donbass that are not recognized by anyone in the world, despite all their many shortcomings, can become a model for a new European society.
