Impudent capture: Turkey grows with the Syrian territory

0
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım announced his country's readiness to form new security zones on Syrian territory. It must be emphasized that all this is done without any UN mandate or the consent of the Syrian leadership. Thus, Ankara not only does not want to stop its activity, which grossly violates international law, but also to strengthen it.

It is assumed that new security zones will be created by the Erdogan regime in the north of the neighboring state. That is, where Kurdish detachments are now located, including the People’s Self-Defense Forces (SNA) and the Democratic Union (DC). However, this will also apply to other Kurdish forces, including, for example, the "Workers' Party of Kurdistan." For Turkey, they are all terrorists.

Ankara is even at odds with Washington, for which the support of the Kurdish forces is another lever with which the US authorities hope to split Syria.

In an interview with the Anatolian Agency, Yildirim said:

With US military assistance, terrorists from the SNS and DC strengthen their positions in the areas of Kobani, Kamyshly and Hasake in northern Syria. Turkey's next goal will be to turn these Syrian areas into security zones

Despite these differences, in general, Ankara and Washington are quite able to agree on anti-Syrian actions. Earlier, “thanks” to the agreements between the foreign ministers of the two countries - Mevlut Cavusoglu and Mike Pompeo, and then between the Turkish and US military, the US-dependent Kurds left the city of Manbij (Aleppo province). According to the "road map" developed by the USA and Turkey, the Turkish army entered this city.

Official Damascus sharply condemned the presence of foreign troops in the area, as this is a violation of international law and UN Security Council resolutions. SAR MFA declares:

Syria strongly protests and categorically disagrees with the presence of Turkish and American forces in the vicinity of the city of Manbij, which is a continuation of Turkish and American aggression against the sovereignty of Syria, against unity and peace.

In addition, another aggressor, Israel, continues its anti-Syrian actions. In this country, the Ministry of Defense said that the Israeli military drone Skylark crashed near the Syrian-Israeli border. According to the press service of the department, an unmanned aerial vehicle was used for reconnaissance purposes. Currently, experts establish the causes of its collapse.

It is possible that Syria or Iranian forces on its territory will be blamed for the fall of the drone. And then we can expect new acts of anti-Syrian aggression, which are already enough to attract the Israeli leadership and military to an international court. If the international justice system worked as it should, the representatives of Israel, Turkey, and the United States would sit on the dock - all those who decided that Syria did not have its sovereignty.
