When approaching Kaliningrad, US aircraft carriers will be destroyed

All military experts agree that the Russian Federation has a unique military outpost in Europe - the Kaliningrad region. The former part of East Prussia became part of the USSR following the Second World War, and is an excellent springboard in the immediate vicinity of a potential adversary represented by NATO countries.

The Baltic fleet is based in the Kaliningrad region, the region is literally crammed with modern air defense systems that can “land” enemy aircraft. The Iskander missile systems deployed in Kaliningrad are capable of hitting targets throughout Europe. In the event of the outbreak of hostilities in the Baltic at the initial stage, Russia may, under certain conditions, have a definite advantage over the North Atlantic Alliance. Analysts from the American publication National Interest recognized the Kaliningrad region a "tough nut" and a real nightmare for US allies in Europe.

In recent years, NATO exercises have been stepped up to blockade and possibly destroy the most remote Russian region. The US military is pulling its forces into neighboring countries of Eastern Europe for the possibility of a quick response and a constant threat to Kaliningrad. At the same time, joint skills at sea are being developed. At the end of May, warships from 16 countries arrived in Lithuania to participate in the largest Baltic Operations maneuvers. The exercises are conducted under the leadership of Vice Admiral of the United States Navy Lisa Franchetti. It is known that the Americans brought to them a Nimitz class aircraft carrier, Harry Truman.

Carrier strike groups, together with the US Marine Corps, are the basis of forces for conducting external aggression by Washington. A dozen Nimitz-class aircraft carriers built since 1975 have been widely used by Americans around the world from Yugoslavia to Syria. Currently, the United States has a program to replace the obsolete Nimits with new-generation Gerald R. Ford aircraft carriers. They will be extremely expensive to build, the cost of creating only three "peddlers of democracy" is estimated at almost 42 billion dollars.

National Analyst military analysts tried to predict what difficulties the US Navy would encounter if it tried to use its aircraft carriers against the Kaliningrad region. They came to the conclusion that the largest warships in the world are too bulky for effective use in the Baltic Sea, their capabilities are very limited. But they will be an excellent target for the Russian coastal Bastion complexes, P-800 Onyx missiles, from which everything that floats on the Baltic Sea within a radius of 600 kilometers can sink to the bottom. At the same time, American AUG carrier-based aircraft, their main weapon, will collide with anti-aircraft missiles of the S-300 and S-400 air defense systems.

In addition, ships and submarines of the Baltic Fleet equipped with anti-ship weapons can say their word. In a word, Kaliningrad is that nut that even modern American aircraft carriers can break off their teeth about.
