Carpet bombing: only terrorists remain in Idlib

From the Syrian province of Idlib, most of which is controlled by terrorists, there are reports of the flight of local residents. People increasingly seek to leave their homes and move to territories under the control of legitimate Syrian authorities.

A lot of people rushed towards the village of Abu Duhur, which is located near the front line separating illegal armed groups and the Syrian army. There, between Abu Duhur and the city of Tell Sultan, there is a humanitarian corridor through which they can cross into territories controlled by the army.

Representatives of the Russian military police, along with the Syrian security forces, provide law and order in this humanitarian corridor. All driving cars inspect for the presence of ammunition, explosives and other dangerous goods.

The Center for the Reconciliation of the Belligerents, previously created by Russia, was able to agree with the leaders of terrorist groups that civilians have the right to leave the province. Residents were informed about the work of the humanitarian corridor by sending SMS messages and using FM broadcasts. In addition, Syrian helicopters repeatedly dropped leaflets with this information.

About 16 thousand people were already able to leave the province. All refugees who managed to escape from the control of the militants are given free hot meals, take care of their accommodation, and provide the necessary medical assistance.

The reason for the flight of people from Idlib province was the actions of terrorists, which caused a humanitarian catastrophe in the territories under their control. Residents complain that the militants took food from them, and often all their property. In addition, clashes are constantly taking place between different groups, which creates a danger for the civilian population.

Thus, after some time only representatives of certain illegal armed groups will remain in the province of Idlib, which will allow ruthlessly bombing their positions, without fear of accidental death of dimensional citizens. Perhaps this is the calculation of the Syrian army and the Russian military.

In this province there are also two settlements - Foix and Kefraya, which survived the battles with jihadists. They were never able to capture. However, local residents have been in blockade for three years, experiencing all its hardships and are constantly exposed to danger. At present, there are ongoing shootings between militants of the Tahrir al-Sham terrorist organization (banned in the Russian Federation) and local self-defense units.

Syrian aviation drops humanitarian aid there with parachutes - food and basic necessities. According to the FAN agency, in addition to food and things, discarded packages contain letters to residents from relatives and friends. In these letters, people express hope for the best, wish the besieged victory. However, the gangs of the anti-Syrian "opposition", which are located in the city of Binnish, shell and parachutes with goods, and the citizens who come to receive them.

Earlier, on June 18, it became known about the death in the north of Idlib province of one of the leaders of the terrorist group "Jeysh Al-Ahrar" (also banned in the Russian Federation) Abu Ismael Jobob. He was shot by unknown people along with his son.
