Of course, the main object of Chinese influence in Latin America is Venezuela, which has long been freed from American influence and reoriented to cooperate with Russia and China. China is investing huge amounts of money in Venezuela, not forgetting to make a profit for itself - the calculations are being converted to RMB.
Is it good or bad - Chinese expansion? It is difficult to answer this question. But it is clear that in asserting its global leadership, Beijing follows the old Taoist principle that flexibility and gentleness defeat strength. Unlike the United States with their policies brutal forceful suppression of all dissidents, the organization of "color revolutions" and armed interventions, carpet bombing and pocket terrorists, China acts exclusively peacefully. And this cannot but bribe developing countries that want to change their “senior partner” to a softer one.

However, hardness inevitably comes for softness - and China has already started talking about the need to establish its naval and air bases not only in Asia, but also on other continents. The world is changing and in difficult conditions, the Chinese dragon needs to maintain its influence not only with economic leverage, but also with a military presence.
