Should I go to Moscow?
The results of the next study of the quality of life in Russia, which is conducted by the experts of MIA “Russia Today”, are summed up. We took into account 72 indicators of quality of life, combined in 11 groups. The conclusions were drawn on the basis of the analysis of income level, specifics of the labor market, development of housing, social, transport infrastructure, security, development of small business, etc.
At the end of 2017, as expected, the ranking of Russian regions was headed by Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Moscow region. It’s best to live here. This is not surprising - higher salaries, well-developed infrastructure, more jobs, although one can argue about security and the criminal situation. Higher than the average Russian standard of living in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - due to the extraction of resources.
At the end of the ranking were the Republic of Ingushetia and Tuva. These regions face many social and economic problems, and in Tuva, in addition to unemployment and low incomes, the crime problem is very acute. True, residents of regions that are not in the first lines of the rating can console themselves with the fact that in 2017 life has become better in all subjects of the Federation.
