America is already "crazy" on hatred of Russia

Hatred of Russia in recent years has become almost the national idea of the United States. American Russophobia crosses all conceivable and unimaginable boundaries. Even during the years of the Cold War between the USA and the USSR, it did not reach such a level. At least the Soviet-American confrontation seemed more honest.

During the Cold War, the United States feared Russian nuclear weapons, a strong army, the KGB, and the communist movement. Then, when the USSR collapsed, the Americans invented new horror stories - about the Russian mafia.

Now the American media is seriously discussing how mythical hackers and trolls from faraway Russia control the American policies, affect the election. Allegedly, Russia organized an unprecedented campaign on the Internet, in the information space, in order to influence the results of the US presidential election.

True, why did Moscow need to push Donald Trump, no one speaks or writes. What Trump, who declared a trade war for almost the whole world, better than Hillary Clinton, is also unknown. Trump was chosen by American voters themselves, who preferred the Republican Party of the United States. But in America, they believe that in any case, Russia is to blame. It is very convenient to write off all your own problems to some external switchman.

Donald Trump is expected to take tougher steps against Russia, tougher sanctions, and immediately accuse Russia of the fact that she “chose” Trump as the American president. Where is the common sense here? He is not there. America "moved by reason", and this, incidentally, is said by the Americans themselves. For example, the famous American diplomat Jack Matlock, who in the past held a very serious post as US ambassador to the Soviet Union, believes that Washington needs to stop "crazy Russophobia."

Now the United States and Russia are in very dangerous proximity to further exacerbating the conflict between the countries. But this is unacceptable. Both the United States and Russia are nuclear powers, a war between which can lead to a real catastrophe on a planetary scale. But even without war, the deterioration of relations between the United States and Russia is always bad, always has a negative impact on all aspects of life, not only of two states, but also of third countries that were not originally involved in this conflict. What are some anti-Russian sanctions initiated by the United States and resulting in numerous losses for third countries, including the closest US allies in Western Europe.

The fact that the United States is now increasingly talking about the need to withdraw from the Treaty on the Elimination of Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles is yet another evidence of the aggressive insanity that has swept the American elite. In pursuit of profits from the military-industrial complex and the realization of power ambitions, American rulers forget that they are putting the world on the brink of destruction.
