Poroshenko: Russia will sell its gas to Europe as we wish
Despite the construction of the second line of the Nord Stream gas pipeline in Germany last week, hysteria continues in Kiev. Just in time for the start of construction, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko published an article in a German newspaper. In it, the Ukrainian leader calls on the German leadership to change their minds and abandon plans for the implementation of the energy project.
Poroshenko strongly recommends Europe not to feed the "Russian bear" and not to follow his lead, because he is just waiting for the moment to attack and crack down on the Europeans. Moreover, President Nezalezhnaya is confident that the new gas pipeline will deprive his country of the last lever of pressure on Moscow, because there will no longer be a need for a Ukrainian gas transportation system.
In other words, Poroshenko calls on Europe to abandon its dependence on Russia, while indirectly inviting Moscow to remain dependent on Kiev. Moreover, the President of Ukraine openly declares that he intends to continue to put pressure on Russia, to blackmail and threaten her.
