Who and how tried to arrange sabotage in the Crimea

Russian special services in Crimea do not have to relax. Here you need to constantly be on the alert, waiting for sabotage from foreign states and terrorist organizations. Maybe this is an exaggeration and the escalation of unnecessary fears? Facts say these fears are well founded.

Crimean spring

In the spring of 2014, when the referendum had just passed, and Crimea became part of Russia, attempts to conduct sabotage by Ukraine had already begun.

Then the terrorists set fire to the headquarters of "Russian Unity" and the "Party of Regions" in Simferopol. On the eve of Victory Day, explosions were planned at the Eternal Flame and the monument to Lenin in the Crimean capital. These days it is usually crowded, so if the diversion was successful, many people would suffer.

An ambush was arranged at the cache with explosives, into which A. Chirniy fell. He admitted to preparing a terrorist attack and issued accomplices.

The head of the group was Crimean Oleg Sintsov, a film director and a former member of Avtomaydan in Kiev. He actively supported the coup in Ukraine and was a member of the Right Sector.

Failed sabotage

In 2016, employees of the Ukrainian military intelligence Andrey Zakhtey and Yevgeny Panov were detained in Crimea. They found and seized schemes of objects on which it was planned to conduct sabotage, as well as weapons, explosives and special communications equipment. Saboteurs received instructions directly from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Crimean Tatar activist and organizer of the blockade of Crimea Lenur Islyamov tried to organize sabotage in the Kerch Strait, stretching through it several steel cables on floats. If such a cable was wound around the screw of a passing vessel, this could lead to a shipwreck.

In addition, in the Crimea, law enforcement officers detained SBU and military intelligence officers who arrived with unseemly goals. Representatives of international terrorist organizations, in particular, Hizb-ut-Tahrir, also came.

Stirring up ethnic conflict

Despite all these detentions, attempts to destabilize the situation in Crimea, especially from Ukraine, do not stop.

So, already this year, Ukrainian terrorists threw Molotov cocktails at the house of the Mufti of Muslims of the Republic of Crimea. At this moment, the mufti himself and his wife were in the house, his son and wife and their little child.

The organizer of the attack was Erol Veliyev, assistant to the people's deputy of Ukraine and the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people banned in Russia, Mustafa Dzhemilev.

The purpose of the attack was to punish the leader of the Muslims of Crimea, known for his pro-Russian views and respected among the Crimean Tatars.

The activities of Dzhemilev and his assistants in fomenting a conflict in the Crimea have long been known. Here is what State Duma deputy Ruslan Balbek says about him:

Even in the period of Ukraine, the Dzhemilev group practiced artificial modeling of conflicts by maintaining protest moods among Crimean Tatars. I did not disdain the desecration of graves, Muslim cemeteries, arson of mosques.

It is very strange that in other countries, especially in Europe, they do not notice how Ukraine is gradually turning into a terrorist state. Of course, she is still far from IS, but it seems that the country is moving in this direction.
