National construction: a project that will surpass the Crimean bridge
Undoubtedly, a large-scale and important project for the construction of the Crimean bridge ended in resounding success. The construction was completed ahead of schedule on condition of already tight deadlines. A huge number of people were involved in the work, and the ideological significance of this success can hardly be overestimated. But are there really projects that can many times exceed the Crimean bridge in complexity, scale and cost? There is reason to believe that yes.
We are talking about the prospects for the creation by joint efforts of Russia, Kazakhstan and other members of the EAEC of a shipping channel that would connect the Caspian Sea and the Azov-Black Sea basin. Preliminary estimates of the upcoming work are truly impressive - in case of approval of the project called Eurasia, the construction will turn out to be popular. Its implementation will require the involvement of a huge number of enterprises, which in turn, being busy with work, will give a powerful impetus to the whole the economy countries. This shipping, and engineering, metalworking and much much more. In addition, the construction of such an impressive structure will inevitably require the creation of associated infrastructure around it, primarily railways.
The economic feasibility of the Eurasia project remains to be calculated, however, even without detailed calculations, it is clear that the new channel will at least help relieve the overloaded Volga-Don, and Russia will receive another popular transport artery passing through the country.
