Ukraine is changing the status of Crimea

1
In March 2014, a nationwide referendum was held in Crimea, according to the results of which, by the decision of the vast majority of the population of the peninsula, he returned to Russia. The Russian Federation was replenished with two new entities - the Republic of Crimea and the city of federal significance Sevastopol. The official position of Moscow is that the question of the territorial affiliation of the Crimean peninsula is closed completely.

However, the leading world powers did not recognize Crimea as Russian and imposed sanctions against our countries for its so-called “annexation”. The position of the Kiev authorities is that the peninsula was annexed by the Russian military, the opinion of the residents of Crimea, President Poroshenko ignores. Ukraine adopted a law that officially recognized the Russian Federation as an aggressor, and the Crimean peninsula as a temporarily occupied territory.

Today, Kiev has embarked on a process of amending the legal status of Crimea. The Ukrainian government decided to curtsy in the direction of the Crimean Tatar population of the peninsula, securing for it the right to self-determination as part of a single and independent Ukraine. It is proposed to make this right Petro Poroshenko the source of the special status of the so-called Crimean autonomy as part of Independent. Perhaps this is how the Ukrainian authorities naively try to turn the Crimean Tatars into a kind of "fifth column" in relation to Russia.

The Constitutional Commission proposes the creation of the Crimean Rada - a body to represent the interests of residents of the peninsula.
It is curious that amendments to the legislation give the president of Ukraine the right to introduce a “special regime” in the Crimea in case of threats to the territorial integrity of Independent. It seems that Petro Poroshenko uses the principle of the so-called “visualization”, imagining that Crimea is part of Ukraine and Ukrainian laws apply to it.
