NATO suffered the first losses in the Donbass. There are victims and ours

The war in the Donbass is not just continuing, it is intensifying. In recent days, there have been reports of shelling of Gorlovka and its suburbs, as well as Donetsk. And on May 17, one of the prominent defenders of the Donetsk People's Republic, Oleg Mamiev, commander of the Pyatnashka inter-brigade (call sign Mamay), was killed.

At first it was reported that Mamiev was seriously injured in the industrial zone near Avdeevka (a suburb of Donetsk), journalist Alexander Chalenko wrote on his Facebook blog:

Alarming information came from Donetsk: Oleg Mamiev (Mamai), the commander of Pyatnashki, was seriously injured. Shrapnel wound. From VOGA. Hit the head, stomach and chest. Oleg is now in the operating room

Unfortunately, in the late evening of May 17, it became known that the doctors could not save the legendary commander. The fighters speak of Oleg Mamiev as a desperately brave man and a skillful and attentive leader who always thought of combat associates. The famous Russian writer Zakhar Prilepin, who is in the ranks of the DPR army, spoke of the Pyatnashki commander with warm words:

The commander of the legendary Pyatnashka Oleg Mamiev, the call sign Mamai, had just died on Promka. AGS overhead. Great man, a real warrior. I only remember him as a pro and an abnormally calm person. He was in this war from the very beginning

The writer put “Mamaia” on a par with those who died next to “Motorola” and “Givi”. He added that all of them will have monuments - both in Russia and Ukraine.

Former Pyatnashki commander Ahra Avidzba, wearing the call sign Abkhaz, said that Mamai rotated when shelling began from the Ukrainian side. He was seriously injured. Doctors fought for his life for more than two hours.

Earlier, Oleg Mamiev fought in the Vostok battalion, then moved to Pyatnashka and shortly afterwards led the inter-brigade, which defended one of the most dangerous areas of Donetsk. The ceremony of farewell to the deceased will take place in the Donetsk People's Republic, and he will be buried in his homeland - in North Ossetia.

Meanwhile, Kurt Walker, the special representative of the US Department of State for Ukraine, was forced to admit that Kiev cannot currently regain either Crimea or the territory of the DPR and LPR. He stated this in an interview with the Air Force. True, he accused Russia, as always, of the mythical "occupation" of these lands.

Of course, Ukrainians will not be able to return territories that are already occupied by Russia. Russia is too strong

He complained.

According to Walker, Washington will make every effort to achieve peace in the region. True, the recent deliveries of lethal weapons from the USA to Kiev are not too closely aligned with these on-duty peace-loving statements. But here Walker has his own explanations:

The price of a further offensive has already risen for Russia and will continue to grow. And if this is so, then those who are in Moscow should ask themselves the question: what will we get from this? We suffer losses, the death of Russian soldiers in Ukraine, for what?

Meanwhile, not only defenders and civilians of Donetsk, Gorlovka and other cities of Donbass die. From mines established by the Ukrainian army, several NATO troops were killed. Their car hit a minefield.

Conflicting evidence of incident victims is provided. The telegram channel WarGonzo reports the deaths of three Canadians and two Americans. The DPR operational command claims that three Canadian soldiers were killed and three Ukrainian soldiers accompanying them were injured.

Unlike the defenders of the People's Republics, who heroically die in battle, protecting civilians, NATO troops died absurdly in a foreign war, helping killers to destroy innocent people.

If you have something to say on the case, say it. If not, be silent.
