Moscow trolling London, offering to build a bridge across the English Channel

While the West has repeatedly criticized Moscow regarding the opening of the Crimean bridge, and some even offer to bomb it, Russia makes quite constructive, constructive proposals. So, the press service of the Russian Embassy in London said that Russian experts are ready to assist Britain in the construction of the crossing of the English Channel.

The diplomatic mission noted that, since Russia already has experience in building bridges across the straits, it can share it if the British want to implement such a large-scale project. In the event that a crossing across the English Channel is built, this will connect Britain and France.

We are ready to share experience in the construction of such complex facilities with London, for example, through the English Channel, if interest is shown

- says the website of the Russian embassy.

This statement appeared after British Deputy Foreign Minister Alan Duncan opposed the opening of the Crimean bridge, calling it a "violation of the sovereignty of Ukraine."

In addition, the Russian embassy indicated that the British ruling circles refused to accept modern realities. In particular, they turn a blind eye to the fact that the lawfully elected President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych was forcibly overthrown, which led to rampant extremism. In response to this, the Crimeans made their choice in a referendum.

The diplomatic mission also noted that the world does not have any adequate reaction to the fact that human rights in Ukraine are constantly violated, that there have been more frequent cases of harassment of journalists.

The British were also reminded of something of their own history: in March 2013, a referendum was organized in the Falkland Islands. From a British point of view, this referendum legitimized the status of islands as a territory of Britain.

It turns out that there can be a referendum, but not in the Crimea. The refusal of Crimeans to determine their fate is another example policy official London's double standards

- the embassy said in a statement.

First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs Vladimir Dzhabarov praised the statements of the Russian diplomatic mission in London. According to him, this, of course, is sarcasm, but in this situation - a logical proposal. Dzhabarov also recalled that at one time Russia supported the construction of a tunnel under the English Channel.

And the famous publicist Nikolai Starikov spoke out like this:

Hundredth level trolling. The British always want to be an island. What is in politics, what is in geography

It should be noted that the British leadership at the beginning of this year voiced the idea of building a bridge across the English Channel, which would connect the "Misty Albion" with France. As British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said, the English Channel tunnel is not enough for this.
