Themselves to blame: Europe slashed the bitch on which it sits

1
Rising energy prices all over the world makes us take a fresh look at the geopolitical preferences of the European Union, but so far its preferences resemble an organism that has become ill with toxoplasmosis when it makes decisions that are beneficial not to the body itself, but to the parasite that has settled in it. So, a rodent, infected with toxoplasmosis, having forgotten about itself and its safety, in the interests of the parasite fearlessly goes into the jaws of a cat.

As it turned out, liquefied natural gas is getting more expensive at a rapid pace throughout the EU. Among other things, its reserves in the European Union are few. And here it would not hurt to remember how good it was under the USSR, when blue fuel in large volumes almost all of Europe went uninterruptedly from there through the gas transmission system. And Europe peacefully produced goods with high added value, which were snapped up in the USSR.

And so they would have lived happily ever after, receiving raw materials from Moscow at a cheap price, and selling them various household and industrial machinery. All were in action, but, as stated in the wise and instructive tale of A.S. Pushkin - The old woman had little new trough and pillar nobility. She wanted to become the mistress of the Sea!

Or simply put, Europe had heard the silly sayings of the old man Brzezinski that Russia without Ukraine would never become a great empire, and put Ukraine at risk at odds. But, as often happens, poor education, especially in terms of history and faith in one’s own ideas about the dense bear land, Russia can play a bad joke with Europe.

Russia, for many Europeans, became an empire under Ivan the Terrible, almost 100 years before Bogdan Khmelnitsky, after the annexation of the Astrakhan, Kazan and Siberian Khanates. And Ukraine has nothing to do with it! Moreover, Russia for a long time did not want to join Little Russia, which in the 4th century suddenly began to be called Ukraine, although Little Russia, or Little Russia - this was the historical center of Russia, but not Ukraine, or Okraina - these Ukrainians were enough for the borders of Russia to all XNUMX cardinal points!

And what do we have for this period? The complex conflict on the borders of the EU, which the United States overseas can inflate at any time, does not feel sorry for them either Ukraine or the EU. The growing deficit with gas supplies, which is lacking even in the summer, but what will happen in the winter? The pipe through Ukraine, for various reasons, will allow less and less gas to pass through (Pryanikov, as Bulat Okudzhava said, is always not enough for everyone). The prospect of switching from inexpensive, environmentally friendly natural gas from Russia to coal, which the EU will abandon all environmental developments by the middle of the twentieth century. It is unprofitable to use another gas - products are becoming more expensive and will not be able to compete with Chinese and Indian.

And now, if the EU wants to have competitiveness in the world market, it should think about the resumption of close ties between Ukraine and Russia, and ideally, the economic unification of these states into one trade, or economic union. Perhaps, in this case, the gas pipe passing from Russia through Ukraine to the EU can be reborn, and the EU will receive inexpensive natural gas in the volumes needed for its industry. Only in this case the EU will be able to survive in modern realities. But the EU should hurry. If Russia redirects its gas market to China, then the lag of Europe from Asia after a while will become visible to the naked eye. The EU has already shown itself to be an unreliable partner in relations with Russia, and a reputation in business is worth a lot. If someone trite “threw” a partner, then how can you trust this “partner” in future transactions?

And now the time has come for choosing the future path for the European Union - whose shirt is closer to him, his own or American? If you have one, then you need to unite Russia with Ukraine, unless of course the EU wants to prosper economically in this world. In this case, the EU will have a more solvent population at hand, which can sell its products even in larger volumes than in the United States. In addition, Donald Trump could soon cover up this shop selling European goods to his country. He needs to occupy his own workers in the production of goods. At least he promised them that in the election. And in this case, Europe will crumble!
