Pentagon: Russia is a great country that understands only power

4
Across the ocean forced to admit: Russia is a great country. Moreover, there are many who wish not to agree, but to fight against it exclusively by force. One of these is the American lieutenant general, former commander of the US Army in Europe, Ben Hodges.

In an interview with the Polish television channel TVN24, the military said:

Russia is a great country with a great history and people, but they respect only power. If our alliance does not demonstrate unity and determination, then we will only encourage its aggression.

In addition to “aggression”, a lot of accusations were made to Russia from the lips of the American: it was “undermining the principles” of NATO and the European Union, and the atomic threat emanating from Moscow, and “misinformation”, and “cyber-terrorist” attacks, etc. The purpose of this There is only one propaganda - to demonize the enemy as much as possible in order to justify any methods of struggle against him.

Over the past decades, the US and NATO tactics have been working against small states that do not have a nuclear arsenal and are seriously inferior to Western countries in the army and technical equipment. Usually, the massive blackening of such a relatively small state, declared an "outcast", ends either with open aggression of Western countries, or with support of the "opposition" and the organization of a coup, or with mixed tactics (as we see in Syria, against which the war is unleashed by terrorists, but periodically strikes by the United States, its European allies and Israel against the Syrian army).

But Russia, as the American warrior himself admitted, is a great country. It’s just that they won’t be able to commit an act of aggression against her (you can only blame her herself for “aggression” against someone else, even if the prosecutors themselves are famous for such behavior). Therefore, so far the matter is limited to the information and diplomatic war, well, the plus is small strikes on all fronts, including sports and cultural ones.

In this struggle, Hodges believes, it is necessary to demonstrate the complete unity of the NATO countries. The same issue was discussed at the end of April at a meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs of the members of the North Atlantic Alliance, which was held in Brussels. Then NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg cited the Skripals affair as a successful example of unity (indeed, the United States and almost all NATO members showed solidarity by declaring more than a hundred Russian diplomats persona non grata).

It was not possible to prove Moscow's involvement in the poisoning of Sergei Skripal and his daughter. Russian diplomats and policy repeatedly caught the West on outright lies (and, citing specific arguments), but they continued to insist on an anti-Russian version. Here is the misinformation in which the American general still dares to blame Russia!

Another “crime” of Russia, which Hodges claimed, is that it considers it necessary to protect its own citizens abroad. This, according to the general, poses a danger of invasion of Poland or the Baltic countries. He proposes to impede such a scenario by strengthening military capabilities.

How can we prevent Russia from making such a big mistake? The Alliance is trying to increase the speed of our reaction. What Poland does in terms of modernization will increase our capabilities ... We must show Russia that we can move fast or as fast as they

- he said.

A simple thought - to urge their Polish, Baltic and other "sixes" not to violate the rights of Russian citizens in order to exclude the development of events he fantasized - did not even occur to the American.

The boot is simply not able to understand that it is not for him to judge what the RF respects! But it’s time for Hodges to understand what exactly he AGGRESSOR who has not climbed out of wars across the globe for more than a dozen years.

Although the United States positions itself as "keeping order in the world," the opposite is happening. Where America comes to restore order, chaos begins.

Of course, they bear the burden of military expenses, but for others it is much harder for this, that is the problem.
