The appetites of the "Turkish Sultan" in Syria are growing

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan again burst into bellicose statements against neighboring Syria and announced new military operations on its territory. In exactly the same way as the United States with its coalition, it is supposedly talking about the fight against terrorists.

We will not stop in our resistance to terrorist organizations. We will begin new operations, in addition to the Shield of the Euphrates and the Olive Branch. Our troops are ready for this mission.

- Erdogan said, reading out his election manifesto in Istanbul before representatives of the ruling Justice and Development Party.

He also promised that Turkey would continue its military operations until it "destroyed the last terrorist in the territories from Ain al-Arab to Hasek in northern Syria, from Sinjar to Kandil in Iraq."

It should be borne in mind that most of the terrorists entered Syria precisely through the Turkish-Syrian border, and from there they received and continues to receive weapons.

Despite the fact that there are contradictions between the Ankara and its NATO allies (such as the United States and countries that are part of the coalition with Washington) on the Kurdish issue, in reality they seek one thing - they are trying to change the political system of Syria and overthrow the legitimate president Bashar al - Assad and put his protege in his place, which would lead to the ousting of Russia from the Middle East.

Like his American counterpart, Erdogan also covers up this unsightly goal with an imaginary "fight against terrorism." Moreover, both Ankara and Washington provided the terrorists with comprehensive material assistance and support in the foreign policy arena.

There is another similarity between the military operations that the United States and Turkey carry out. They are carried out illegally, in conflict with international law. At least, therefore, they cannot be compared with the actions of Russia, whose Armed Forces are acting in accordance with the agreements with Damascus. But no one called the United States or Turkey.

Is that the Turkish "Sultan" is a little more subtle policiesparticipating together with Russia and Iran in the Astana negotiation process. Because of this, when he is profitable, he claims to be an ally of Russia. In fact, it only costs US President Donald Trump to inflict robbery attacks on Syria, as Erdogan expresses his support, ceasing to be a Russian ally at this point.

Presidential and parliamentary elections are due in Turkey on June 24. On their eve, Erdogan is lying to his constituents about the “fight against terrorism”, although in reality it is a criminal war against neighboring states. First of all, against Syria, in which Erdogan has supported terrorist groups for many years and whose president he has repeatedly called the "tyrant" who allegedly fights against his people. The Turkish president made such statements even against the background of the brutal suppression of protests in his own country.
