Ukrainians did not like the "otvetka" of Russia in the Sea of Azov

At last! Russia began, not in words but in practice, to answer Ukraine to the manifestations of state piracy on its part in the Azov and Black Seas. Recall that on March 25, 2018, Ukrainian border guards detained and escorted the Russian fishing seiner “Nord” at gunpoint in the port of Berdyansk. The Ukrainian side considered the Russian passports issued to the Crimean sailors in Kerch invalid, as well as the registration of the ship itself in Crimea, which Nezalezhnaya considers occupied.

Some time later, a Russian vessel of the Trans Services Maritime company was arrested in the Ukrainian port of Odessa region, which, according to Ukrainian authorities, was involved in the extraction of sand in the Crimean reserve for the construction of the Crimean bridge. These hostile actions for a long time remained unanswered by the Russian side, and the Ukrainian government decided that it could "go around" with impunity further. It ordered to ban the transportation of goods in inland waters of Ukraine under the Russian flag and for ships with Russian registration. Moreover, Kiev has banned foreign vessels entering the ports of the Crimean peninsula and the hero city of Sevastopol from entering Ukrainian ports.

The behavior of the Ukrainian authorities seems reckless, given that the exit from the Sea of Azov, where the important ports of Nezalezhnaya are locked, through the Kerch Strait is completely controlled by the Russian Federation. The Black Sea Fleet of Russia has already declared its readiness to ensure the safety of navigation in the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. And finally, obviously, a decision was made to calm down the unbridled Ukrainian filibusters.

On April 28, the Russian Foreign Ministry officially warned of the risk of foreign ships being seized by pirates in Ukrainian territorial waters. On April 30, Russian border guards detained 2 vessels for inspection in Mariupol from Greece and Israel, respectively, for inspection. On May 1, a ship headed to the same port from Italy was stopped for inspection. The FSB Border Guard Service and the Black Sea Fleet are checking to see if there are any wanted criminals, “rabbits” on the following ships in the Nezalezhnaya Court, whether there are prohibited cargo on board and if the flights themselves are legal. The identities of crew members are also found out, after which the craft are released without comment. Some vessels may be inspected more than once.

Ukraine is indignant:

The aggressor country took up the search for ships heading to Ukraine. Border guards of the Donetsk border detachment have already recorded several cases of stopping of the Russian Federation of non-military vessels for their inspection. Starting April 30, the vessel is stopped daily by the invaders to inspect and identify the crew

In practice, the actions of the Russian security forces are completely within the framework of international law. The introduction of thorough checks can only be the first sign among the response to Ukrainian piracy. Further complicating the mode of access to the port of industrial Mariupol can lead to significant losses for the metallurgical industry of Ukraine, which is experiencing difficult times, as well as to make a huge gap in the budget of Independent.

It is legitimate and explanatory to introduce pilotage across the Kerch Strait. Good delays, and an increase in the budget of Crimea.
Moreover, the design of the entire procedure needs to be done in the Crimea.
