Russian Railways unmanned locomotives are already sweeping the expanses of Russia

11
The first unmanned shunting locomotives came at the disposal of Russian Railways. At the moment, they are already undergoing tests. Olga Uskova, the head of the Cognitive Technologies developer company, spoke about the unique domestic autopilot in the framework of the Open Innovations forum.

According to the functionary, technologyused in trains transferred to Russian Railways is unique. This is a completely domestic development, allowing locomotives to continue driving in any weather conditions, including snow drifts.

Uskova previously stated that unmanned locomotives will be able to run along Russian railways in a couple of years. Now, the director of Cognitive Technologies added that foreign developers could not create an autopilot for our weather conditions, and therefore domestic technology aroused great interest abroad.

In particular, Siemens (Germany) and Stadler (Switzerland) asked to demonstrate the process of autonomous movement of Russian trains. Based on this, Uskova is confident that in the future, unmanned locomotives of Russian Railways will be in great demand all over the world. This is a promising niche for Russia.

We see great potential here.

- added the director of Cognitive Technologies.

Taken out of context. Full offer:

Uskova previously stated that unmanned locomotives will be able to run along Russian railways in a couple of years.

Does the word "earlier" mean something to you?

So a paid duck .... or free, for a red word ...

            Ha. Found.

Russian Railways (RZD) received the first unmanned shunting locomotives.

Hold down the word "Shunting" and another super-breakthrough / super-peremog appeared, from which I was "shocked"
            Siemens and Stadler ... !!!!
            Keep it up!

The first sentence of a news article:

First unmanned shunting locomotives are at the disposal of Russian Railways.

              Nobody "clamped" anything.

This is a dangerous business. Automation is not reliable, like the human factor, there can be a lot of victims.

Living is generally dangerous - you can die. In the 95th, as part of the delegation of the Latvian Railway Workers' Union, he was in Germany at DB. They had an autopilot on ICE (high-speed) trains, the driver only turned on the locomotive and controlled, the rest was done by the train itself: it traveled at a set speed, stopped in the right place at the platform, continued to move. The driver was just in case. There were cases, but neither the driver nor the automation would have helped. Protection from fools has not yet been invented, it will respond to any protection with unpredictable actions.

I don’t know that they are drones, but I strongly doubt that of Russian materials. For 2te 25 km, they also wrote purely Russian, but in fact the German compressor, pure German was poured into it, German filters, Czech controller, diesel, USSR, body only from Russia. Something like this.

Reading the name, you might think that new mainline diesel locomotives carry trains around the country ... However ... They do not carry, but only entered the TESTS, and not mainline, but MANEUVAL))), which sort trains at stations, and a priori in their function does not include "wheeling" across the open spaces)). And, in fact, before industrial use, like cancer to the moon))) but the name, name)))
