Why Russia helps the Ukrainian army
Almost four years have passed since the moment when Kiev unleashed a war against the Russian-speaking population of Donbass. During this time, various human rights and law enforcement organizations have recorded many war crimes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and parts of the National Guard. The Ukrainian leadership accuses Russia of all troubles, calling it an aggressor.
And against this background, the military-industrial cooperation of our countries continues. Russia continues to supply uninterrupted supplies for the Ukrainian military equipment.
Helicopter detective
This investigation was conducted by Ukrainian journalists from the Scheme program. They became interested in the details of the transaction between two enterprises from Ukraine: the Aviakon plant and the Vertolservice company. The latter won a tender for the supply of helicopter blades for the Aviakon plant, which is engaged in the repair of helicopters, including military ones.
Attention was drawn to the deal due to the fact that not a single Ukrainian enterprise produces such blades. Having tracked the origin of the product, it was possible to find out that Vertolservis received them from a Russian manufacturer, the Ulan-Ude blade plant, which is owned by the state corporation Rostec. The purchase was made through intermediary firms.
When Ukrainian buyers began to be blamed for the lack of patriotism, they reasonably noticed that they did not see anything wrong with their actions. They bought parts for the Ukrainian military in Russia that are not manufactured in Ukraine, that is, strengthened the military power of their country.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada National Security and Defense Committee Sergei Pashinsky supported such cooperation. He stated the following:
Perhaps you can understand the logic of these arguments, but it is difficult to understand the logic of the Russian side, which strengthens the army, which kills the Russian-speaking population of Donbass.
This case of cooperation between Russia and Ukraine in the military sphere is far from the only one. Back in 2014, Igor Strelkov, who then commanded the armed forces of Donbass, claimed that the Yaroslavl diesel equipment plant, owned by Oleg Deripaska, supplies components for the production of tanks to the Malyshev Kharkov Plant.
If you take into account the terminology of the Ukrainian authorities, the aggressor country supplies its opponents with military products. It is as if in 1941 the Soviet Union would buy spare parts for tanks and aircraft from the Germans, well, or vice versa.
I do not know about you, but I have a logical question. But is it time to stop this mess? Maybe enough to feed and arm our enemies? After all, they have declared us aggressors all over the world, from time to time they are trying to carry out sabotage in the Crimea and in the Donbass. In an effort to fill their pockets, someone began to forget that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are constantly bombarding not so much the positions of the Armed Forces of the DPR and LPR as peaceful quarters and infrastructure.
There is reason to think, not even with you, but with the Russian law enforcement agencies in order to determine the legitimacy of the actions of businessmen, whose activities border on high treason.
