"Worse than death": in the United States fear for the fate of the "Tomahawks"

1
Some Pentagon generals categorically denied the fact that Western unexploded missiles in Syria and fragments of those that were shot down by the Syrians were delivered to Russia. Even after the Russian Ministry of Defense demonstrated the ammunition ingloriously ending their miserable life to journalists by arranging an exhibition from them, they pretended not to believe overseas.

But the American magazine Popular Mechanics does not seem to share this bravado. According to its authors, the intercepted Tomahawks will have a fate that is “worse than death”. In the hands of Russian scientists, they will become "experimental rabbits."

True, the magazine also made a reservation that the statements of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation cannot be unconditionally taken “at face value”, but at the same time predicted “smart, new and good” missiles unenviable fate.

According to experts of the publication, the main danger is not that in Russia they will study these ammunition and make their analogues. And the fact is that after research on the test benches of the guidance system teams, the enemy will learn to destroy Tomahawks much more efficiently.

There are some pieces of military equipment in a modern rocket that a smart enemy can use for their own purposes.

- said in the relevant material.

Experts have suggested that such testing can last several years, but anyway - this is the beginning of the "long death" of missiles.

The ongoing duel between the American and Russian military developers equipment will be continued. Just like real nightmares of captured guided missiles

- concluded the authors of the article.

For their part, experts from the Russian Ministry of Defense believe that studies of captured ammunition can be used to make Russian weapons more effective.

In an interview with Izvestia, Russian Senator Franz Klintsevich, a member of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security, said:

They will be studied, analyzed and created better conditions so that the defeat of such “smart, pretty and beautiful” missiles would not be difficult at all. Yes, it is, in principle, not difficult for us. But there are also a lot of interesting things that could help us and suggest and, perhaps, change our weapons somewhere

Well, if the study of the Tomahawks can be used both to improve the armament of Russia and to learn how to destroy enemy weapons, this will be a double blow to those who so recklessly “punished” Syria for imaginary guilt that has not been proved. The American Tomahawks, along with French and British missiles, wanted to bring death to a foreign country. Is it worth regretting their fate, even if it will be “worse than death”? But it’s worth sympathizing with the people who were injured in the attack on April 14, and the relatives of those who died in the previous act of aggression against Syria on April 7 last year.

Obviously, it's not worth it ... Everyone is talking about the shooting down of these products, but no one has ever hinted at the impact of electronic warfare equipment on them ... It seems that decoding the "brains" of these machines will allow us in the future to intercept control of the CVC / BPEVM rockets, but this is definitely worse than death! For the Tomahawk can turn into a Boomerang!
Then, for sure, you can howl at the moon with "joy" for such nasty things !!!
    IMHO. laughing
