Ukraine has become a rocket range for the US Army

3
The time when the United States, showering Russia with reproaches and accusations, was systematically moving toward breaking the treaty, which limited the creation of medium- and short-range missiles, to an end. The INF Treaty, as they used to say, "rested in a Bose", to observe hateful conventions and try to make a good face with your own frankly cheating game, there is no longer any need. You can reset the mask and act quite openly.

Today at the Pentagon, absolutely unashamedly, they say that they began to develop prohibited weapons a few years before the official break of the agreement. However, this is far from the most intriguing news on this issue. It seems that new missiles directed against our country are not only being created, but are being tested - moreover, almost at the very borders of Russia!

"Thunder" from nowhere

Washington, perhaps, should have been more careful in selecting allies - so that there would be no leakage of information such as the one discussed below. In itself, it can be taken for another empty bragging of Ukrainian "patriots", but in connection with some other facts, leaked information leads to very disturbing thoughts. What are you talking about? About the statement made by one of the Ukrainian information channels and picked up by the local media. In accordance with this, the “nezalezhnoy” “suddenly appeared” rockets with a flight range of 1200 kilometers! Such impressive characteristics are attributed, allegedly, to the “newest” and incredibly “modernized” operational-tactical missile system “Grom-2M”. It is alleged that it was his tests that were carried out during the special tactical exercises of the Ukrainian army, which took place recently in the Zhytomyr region. In the process of such, two quite successful launches were allegedly carried out, as a result of which the training targets at the famous Yavorovsky training ground in the Lviv region were hit. It was said about these teachings and something else, but we will leave this information, which carries the main intrigue, “for dessert,” while we talk about something else.

Work on the creation of their own operational tactical missile systems has been carried out in Ukraine almost since its separation from the USSR. Conversations, in fact, about the Thunder, began, starting in 2013. It should be noted that the development of the project (as well as most of the undertakings in the field of aviation and missile equipment), was accompanied by constant scandals and problems in connection with which, tests of at least the first prototypes of new missiles were postponed from year to year. The main trouble, of course, was the inexorably killing chronic Ukrainian underfunding of the entire Ukrainian military-industrial complex. However, over time, a miracle happened - OTRK became interested in the far from poor Saudi Arabia, who agreed to invest in this project. True, even after that, everything went neither shakily nor swiftly - the picky and sticky Saudis continually threatened to stop further allocation of funds, thus expressing, obviously, dissatisfaction with the far from "Stakhanov" pace of work, and, most likely, received at output results. Over time, everything seemed to get better, but ...

We turn to the specifics: initially, the Grom OTRK was developed precisely within the framework of the INF Treaty - that is, it had a maximum range of 499 kilometers. In the future, there was talk that the "Thunder-2" "hit" already at 750 kilometers - subject to the "change of fuel tanks." But in fact, this rocket was initially declared and tested as solid fuel! What kind of tanks can there be ?! However, okay - maybe this is just a “blunder" of a layman ... However, another thing is completely obvious - the rocket developed at least until 2018, with a range of 500 kilometers, could not "turn" into a weapon that could cover almost three times the distance ! Either the entire message about the mythical "Thunder-2M" is a complete lie, or ... Here we come to the most interesting.

State Department: "Ukraine is our training ground"

And now - the promised “highlight” from the test report. On those, it turns out, "there were technical experts and military observers from one of the NATO countries!" Well, let's try to guess what kind of country this could be in question. I don’t think that it will be so difficult, especially when you consider that almost all the countries that are members of the North Atlantic Alliance today have taken a course towards curtailing military-technical cooperation with “non-fallow”. Except the United States. Just the United States continues to not only train and pump up the Ukrainian army with weapons, but, in fact, completely control it. And here is another extremely interesting detail for you - firing, if you believe the message, were conducted, I remind you, of the targets at the Yavorov training ground. But it’s precisely there, for several years, American warriors have been bossing, as at home. There, in particular, “Javelins” allocated to Kiev are kept under the supervision of US military personnel. This moment is not just important, it is archived. Anyone who is familiar with the issue of testing rocketry knows that the place of impact of the hit (or not hit) missiles is given at least as much attention as the launch pad. Indeed, it is there that reconnaissance of a potential enemy can receive invaluable information by simply collecting surviving weapons components.

And now we ask ourselves a question - why would the US representatives pay such attention to the launches of the next brainchild of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex? Why send the mentioned “technical experts” for testing? The answer is still not asking? Then we’ll try to compare these events with the information circulated last week by the American television channel CNN, which referred to a certain “high-ranking Pentagon representative” who wanted to remain anonymous. In accordance with this, the United States in the near future "is preparing to test a new missile with a non-nuclear warhead that goes beyond the parameters set by the INF Treaty." And - most important: the new missile is designed "to confront Russia in Europe," and it should be launched "from a mobile launch platform." The main problem for the Pentagon is the categorical unwillingness of the European countries of NATO to see such missiles on its territory ... Well, what does the mosaic seem to be folding? Naturally, weapons intended for the European theater of operations should be tested in the Old World. However, the only country that is ready to comply with any directive of Washington and carry out nuclear explosions on its own land, if such a command comes from there, is Ukraine! Now everything is falling into place.

As an additional argument, let me remind you of an interview last month published on the American resource Military Times, related to the publishing company Army Times, which in fact is a full-fledged "mouthpiece" of the Pentagon. In this speech, George Kent, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the European and Eurasian Bureau of the State Department, speaks quite openly that Ukraine is nothing more than a wonderful training ground for preparing a future war with Russia for the American army. “It provides us with great opportunities!” - Kent confesses, sharing even such details that the American warriors subsequently intend to use all the knowledge and skills gained against the Russians “elsewhere on the planet.” In particular, in the same Syria. Washington has not hidden for a long time in what quality and for what specific purpose it is using Ukraine. To test there new missiles designed to attack Russia? Why not?!

Everything written above is by no means a statement. This is just a version, the plausibility and validity of which, everyone is free to judge for himself. However, if it is still true, then there is cause for concern. And very serious ...

Complete nonsense. What does the USA have to do with it? In Ukraine, the OTRK was developed after the collapse of the USSR and before the "Thunder". There were projects "Borisfen" and "Sapsan". The sponsor of OTRU "Thunder-2" is Saudi Arabia. Over 140 million dollars were allocated for its development. The export version is designed for a range of 280 km with a warhead mass of 450 kg, which corresponds to the formula of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and Nuclear Weapons and Their Delivery Vehicles, signed by Ukraine, which sets performance limitations for export missiles of 300 km x 500 kg. The version for the Armed Forces of Ukraine was created for a range of up to 480 km with the same warhead mass of 450 kg, which corresponded to the formula 500 km X 500 kg, taking into account the INF Treaty. With a decrease in the mass of the warhead to 200-250 kg, the range of the missile increases to 700-750 km. The total number of launchers for the Armed Forces of Ukraine was determined at 10 units for the version with a range of 280 km (minimum requirements for the number of units of equipment adopted for service in the army of the exporting country) and 40 units of the version with a range of up to 500/750 km. Adoption of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is planned from 2022. In the distance there are plans to create a medium-range missile. Various flight range options are named - 1200 and 1500 km. The developer of this OTRK is the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau, and the manufacturers are PO Yuzhmash and NPO Pavlograd Chemical Plant, as well as other enterprises of Ukraine.

In addition to the OTRK "Thunder-2" in Ukraine, work is underway on the MLRS "Typhoon-1" (up to 40 km), "Typhoon-2 (up to 66 km)", "Alder" (up to 70 km, "M" - up to 120 km , "M1 140-160 km", M2 - up to 200 km). Typhoon-4 (up to 280 km), KR "Neptune" (up to 280 km). "Korshun-2" (up to 480 km), etc.
