SpaceX uncovered the cause of the explosion of the ship Crew Dragon

The SpaceX Crew Dragon from SpaceX, which predicted a bright future as the main transport system for American astronauts, presented a “surprise” to the ISS after a successful unmanned flight. During ground tests of the emergency engine, an explosion occurred, which the developers of the device described as the abstract concept of "anomaly." Since then, what really happened could only be guessed at. The company Ilona Mask did not give any intelligible comments.

And now, after almost three months after the accident, SpaceX still published the official details of the incident that occurred with the promising ship. According to engineers, the explosion occurred due to a malfunction with a valve mounted on the boost system and responsible for passing helium to the fuel tanks. The latter "worked in the opposite direction," because of which fuel leaked into the tank with helium.

The cause of the explosion was a sharp increase in pressure after the start of emergency engines. As expected, helium went to the valve, but it prevented the accumulated fuel. Then, as the engineers explained, a reaction occurred with titanium, from which one of the components of the valve and ignition were made. As a result, there was an explosion, which we had the opportunity to watch on the video “leaked” to the network.

According to representatives of SpaceX, experts have already found a solution that will prevent this from happening in the future. The valves will be completely removed from the capsule and replaced with bursting discs. Also, the corporation noted that despite the explosion, the ship's engines did not receive tangible damage. However, this fact is unlikely to help Ilon Mask meet the deadlines and carry out a manned launch of Crew Dragon at the end of this year.

How it all starts. How did you fly to the moon, already 11 times?

Apparently, since then they have lost competence.

And how then to let him in to the ISS? I feel sorry for people ...
