Xiaomi will release a self-propelled crawler suitcase
The Chinese brand Xiaomi, for the most part known to most consumers thanks to its smartphones, is not limited to the release of portable gadgets alone. In the assets of the manufacturer you can find a wide variety of products: home products, electric scooters, batteries, knives and even suitcases. Moreover, the latter are represented not only by classic hand luggage.
At CES 2019, which was held in January of this year, Xiaomi 90Fun Puppy1 self-propelled suitcase attracted special attention. The device is able to move independently at speeds of up to 18 km / h, following the owner like a dog, which, in fact, comes from the name “Cheerful puppy”. The suitcase can move automatically or be controlled by the remote control. At the same time, 90Fun Puppy1 can be transported without problems on an airplane, as the device is equipped with a removable battery.
However, despite the many advantages of the “smart suitcase” from Xiaomi, the brainchild of the Chinese giant still has a noticeable drawback - the device is not able to overcome obstacles like borders or other elements of the modern urban landscape. And now, it became known that the manufacturer intends to solve this problem by equipping its next version of the device called Xiaomi 90Fun Puppy2, an additional tracked module.
The latter is designed to significantly improve the "passability" of the suitcase. At the same time, the weight of the luggage will change slightly, since the tracks will be made of lightweight composite alloy. The only point that is not yet clear is how the 90Fun Puppy2 will change the mode of movement. However, given the set of sensors (accelerometers and gyroscopes) that the Veselyq Puppy 2 is equipped with, there is no doubt that the latter will live up to its expectations.
As for protection, the new Xiaomi brainchild, like its predecessor? will receive a carbon body, as well as a padlock with a fingerprint sensor and the ability to lock / unlock via smartphone.
The price of the future news is not yet said. However, given the fact that the previous suitcase costs about 75 thousand rubles, its next version will clearly “exceed” one hundred.
