Sony launched its cutting-edge product on the Japanese market. The new tablet allows you to work with electronic documents as usual paper counterparts.

For the first time about this Technology They started talking back in 2014, when the company released its Digital Paper tablet with similar features. The latest development of the company, model DPT-CP1, was a serious step forward both in matters of compactness and convenience, and in matters of energy efficiency. A standard battery lasts for 3 weeks of use, and the stylus lasts for 4 at all.

The tablet is focused on A5 paper format, it has impressive 11 GB of memory available for use for its purpose (5 GB are occupied by system programs), and this is almost 10 thousand standard documents in PDF format. The anti-glare display of the device has a resolution of 1404x1872, and is equipped with electronic ink technology with 16 shades of gray. The information on this display is clearly visible even in direct sunlight, which helps reduce eye strain. The tablet weighs only 240 grams, with a thickness of 5 mm, and controls all this with a 64-bit Marvell processor.

The cost of new items in the Japanese market is 70 thousand yen (about $ 650), but Sony representatives do not give information about the tablet’s entry to the markets of other countries, as well as about its total cost.
