"Aeroflot" wants to buy "Superdzhety" and MS-21

Aeroflot intends to acquire 100 new Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft. Aeroflot expects to sign a contract for their acquisition this year.

Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Saveliev said that so far the exact schedule for the supply of new SSJ100 aircraft is being worked out. Recall that the contract with the United Aircraft Corporation was concluded by Aeroflot back in 2018.

Then there was a disaster at Sheremetyevo Airport, where 41 people died as a result of a fire on the Superjet. And, of course, in addition to the crew’s mistake, the version about the technical imperfection of this aircraft model immediately began to be considered.

Then many companies and experts had questions about the quality of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft, and it became possible that Aeroflot might refuse to purchase new aircraft. But that did not happen.

Currently, Aeroflot has 49 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft. Before the tragedy in Sheremetyevo, there were exactly 50 of them. Accordingly, if the contract is completed, Aeroflot will have 149 “superjets”.

At the same time, the company assures that they are not going to abandon plans for the acquisition of MS-21 aircraft. Their "Aeroflot" intends to purchase in the amount of 35 pieces.

Currently, the MS-21 is undergoing rigorous testing, and from 2021 the serial production of this aircraft should begin.

So Yes. But then it will be another plane. And I am sure that with proper optimization of effective managers, we are able to build our worthy aircraft without attracting foreigners.

It depends on what you call a "decent plane". In principle, a completely domestic "worthy plane" can be built. Only nobody will buy it. Because it will cost, most likely, very expensive. And its operation will also be very expensive.
But you can build. And if it is also steamed into domestic airlines by a willful method, then it can also be produced.
Another way is much more effective. Design and build (try, at least) normal aircraft with a large percentage of imported parts. And then engage in import substitution. As much as possible.
But there are doubts about "design and build". It doesn't have to work out.
