NATO will not deploy new ground-based nuclear missiles in Europe due to the INF.

Recently we Reportedas the Norwegian Russophobe Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General, burst out threats against Russia on behalf of the Alliance for Moscow's failure to fulfill obligations under the Treaty between the USSR and the USA on the elimination of intermediate and shorter-range missiles (INF Treaty). He then stated that Russia "had only five weeks left to save the contract," after which he promised to take action.

And so, a session of the council (meeting) of the defense ministers of the countries of the "peace-loving" bloc took place, at which a package was agreed. political and military measures in the event of an end to the INF Treaty. At the same time, Stoltenberg assured ("and everyone believed him") that no new ground-based nuclear missiles would be deployed in Europe. However, Stoltenberg did not specify whether Europe would host sea-based nuclear missiles in ground-based launchers (PU). He also said nothing about old ground-based nuclear missiles.

The ministers decided today that NATO will respond if the Russian Federation does not return to the implementation of the treaty. NATO will take a balanced and defensive approach to everything we do. Ministers confirmed today that we have no intention of deploying new ground-based nuclear missiles in Europe. We will not answer in a mirror

- pointedly said Stoltenberg.

At the same time, Stoltenberg emphasized that NATO is going to ensure "the safety and effectiveness of nuclear deterrence." And understand it as you want. He specified, without specificity, that the Alliance “must maintain effective deterrence,” therefore, at the last meeting, potential measures, including a training program and intelligence, were considered.

We also look at our air and missile defense capabilities in conventional weapons

- added Stoltenberg.

From all these florid phrases of a senior Russophobe with experience, we can conclude that NATO's policy towards Russia has not changed and is not going to change. The alliance decided in unison to persuade Russia to comply with the INF Treaty unilaterally. At the same time, NATO has nothing to do with the INF Treaty, because this is a bilateral agreement between the USSR and the United States. And on February 1, 2019, US President Donald Trump announced that on February 2, 2019, Washington would begin the procedure for withdrawing from the INF Treaty (the procedure lasts six months). That is, on August 2, 2019, the INF Treaty will cease to exist automatically.

So NATO has already deployed its missile defense installations on the borders of the Russian Federation, from which it is possible to launch Tomahawk cruise missiles, including with a nuclear warhead. So it was the United States that destroyed the INF Treaty ... and not Russia.

In the same way, they promised not to expand OTAN, but to the Serbs in general, peace and forgiveness - and what in the end?
