Anglo-Saxon “convulsions” are becoming more visible

Washington and its allies, who attacked Syria on April 14, beat not only her, but also the remnants of international law. We can say that even the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) fell under the blow of this hastily put together “coalition”. Firstly, because the aggression occurred on the very day when OPCW experts were expected to arrive in the Syrian Duma to investigate the alleged incident of April 7 (which became the pretext for this attack). And secondly, because the West “beat” the previous actions of the OPCW, when it subscribed to the fact that chemical weapons in Syria were completely destroyed.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, on the Russia-1 television channel during the Sunday Night program, reaffirmed that all Syrian poisonous substances had been eliminated.

Chemical weapons in Syria were destroyed, and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons signed under it

- emphasized the Russian diplomat.

She pointed to two more important details. The first fact: as soon as the Syrian army enters a locality previously occupied by terrorists, there are often found caches with toxic substances. Thus, if someone uses chemical weapons in Syria, then these are extremist militants.

Secondly, Russia initiated a draft resolution of the UN Security Council several years ago, which was aimed at investigating cases of terrorists using chemical weapons. However, he was blocked by the United States of America and their allies - as Zakharova put it, "with this polyphony, which they simply crushed."

But in the West they continue to praise the act of aggression against Syria, as well as very harshly criticize Russia, which tried to prevent this crazy lawless action.

For example, French President Emmanuel Macron, in an interview with BFMTV, called aggression “an excellent operation” and thanked the French military for “a wonderful blow” (he has a peculiar sense of beauty!). British Prime Minister Theresa May in her speech to Parliament (with which, incidentally, did not coordinate the attacks on Syria) admitted:

Frankly: we acted in accordance with our national interests ... We did this because we were sure that it was right

Where, then, are the previous statements about "protecting civilians"? But no matter what these “gentlemen-humanists” are guided by, they always consider themselves right by definition.

But the opinion of a country that refused to participate in the anti-Syrian military operation, but supported the actions of its NATO allies. German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas in an interview with the German television channel ARD focused on criticism of Russia.

He reproached the Russian Federation for blocking resolutions on the prohibition of chemical weapons in Syria twelve times in the UN Security Council. Maas considers this to be the reason for the subsequent missile attacks on Syrian territory (he delicately kept silent about the fact that Russia proposed a draft Security Council resolution on the investigation of the use of chemical weapons by militants).

The German Foreign Minister believes that Russia has become a "more complex partner." He proposed the creation of a coalition government in Syria under the auspices of the UN, to conduct constitutional reform and new elections. And the Russians, as he put it, must accept this.

As a matter of fact, it is precisely these steps that he proposes that Russia has long been discussing in real negotiations. All this was discussed, in particular, at the Forum of the Syrian National Dialogue, which took place in Sochi in January this year. And these are the very measures whose implementation is hindered by the United States and others, disrupting peace processes and prolonging the war. The thing is that the West fears: if new elections are held under Syrian law, the current president Bashar al-Assad will win again. And his overthrow and imposition of the puppet regime is the goal that is masked by all kinds of tinsel.
