Recently, trials of arrested Ukrainian saboteurs are increasingly taking place in the Donbass. So, the Supreme Court of the Lugansk People’s Republic convicted a resident of Alchevsk, who supplied the Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups with weapons.

As the investigators established, a certain Eduard Aloyan, on instructions from the Ukrainian Security Service, was transporting weapons and explosives throughout the LPR, including through the contact line.

The SBU recruited Aloyan at the crossing of the Gorlovka-Mayorsk checkpoint. After that, Eduard Aloyan was assigned the operational pseudonym “Shirim” and was instructed to transport weapons and ammunition to the LPR.

In addition to transporting weapons, Shirim also engaged in espionage - he conducted photo and video shooting of military and civilian objects of interest to the Ukrainian Security Service.

As a result, the Ministry of State Security of the LPR went on the track of a spy. Aloyan was detained; criminal proceedings were instituted against him for high treason in the form of espionage and assistance to a foreign state in activities against the security of the LPR.

The Supreme Court of the Luhansk People's Republic Eduard Aloyan was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
