The Syrian army, with the support of the Russian Aerospace Forces, continues to successfully smash the remains of IS * gangs and the so-called "armed opposition" in the northern part of the Hama province at its junction with Idlib province.
According to a report by Al Masdar News, covering conflicts in the Middle East, government units have recaptured three cities in the region from militants - Hamirat, Karat, and Hardan.
The Tiger Forces unit, which led the offensive in this sector, took the city of Hamirat almost immediately with air support. In the neighboring cities of Karat and Hardan, the militants also failed to hold on to the offensive of the Syrian Arab army.
After taking these settlements, the advancing infantry received respite and time for regrouping, and the artillery took up the processing of the following positions held by the terrorists.
Recall that the province of Idlib is a stumbling block in relations between Syria and Turkey. According to Ankara, the offensive of the Syrian forces in the area leads to an increase in the number of refugees from Syria.
At the same time, Syria does not intend to tolerate the armed forces supported by Turkey on its territory, and therefore is interested in the speedy liberation of this territory.
Judging by the successful and rapid offensive of the Syrian army, Russia still found arguments to convince the Turkish side.
