The violation by the Kosovan authorities of international law, manifested in the detention and beating of a UN mission employee, Russian citizen Mikhail Krasnoshchekov, was not left without attention by the Security Council of this international organization.

According to the Permanent Representative of the Security Council of Kuwait, Mansour al-Oteibi, the discussion of the situation with the attack of the Kosovo police special forces on UN employees, including Mikhail Krasnoshchekov, will be discussed on June 10 during a meeting of the Security Council scheduled for the first half of the day.

The Kuwaiti diplomat said that during the meeting, the special representative of the Secretary General will make a report to the Security Council in which he will tell about what happened.

Recall that on May 28, special forces of the Kosovo police in armored vehicles invaded the places of compact residence of the Serbs and arrested more than ten people using physical violence.

Among the detainees was Russian Mikhail Krasnoshchekov, whom the Kosovo police beat despite the status of an employee of the UN mission.

After the resonance resulting from this incident and the provision of medical care, Krasnoshchekov was released, after which he was declared persona non grata in Kosovo.

The United Nations Organization declared the illegality of the actions of the authorities of Kosovo, and the State Duma of the Russian Federation on the complete neglect of international law.

However, already now it can be assumed that no serious political there will be no consequences for Pristina.
