In Ukraine, Poroshenko became a suspect in the case of the seizure of power

As soon as Petro Poroshenko lost the presidential election, he immediately became a suspect in many criminal cases with the widest range of crimes imputed to him.



Former deputy head of the administration of ex-president Viktor Yanukovych, lawyer Andrei Portnov, who recently arrived in Ukraine, said that according to his statement, the State Bureau of Investigation (GBR) has opened yet another case against Petro Poroshenko.

This time, the suspicion of seizing power was added to all the previous ones.

Recall that today, in addition to seizing power, the former Ukrainian president is accused:

-in treason in connection with the incident in the Kerch Strait;

- abuse of power and official position in the distribution of positions in Centrenergo;

-legalization of criminal proceeds by means of a fictitious sale of the “Lenin Forge”;

-use of the judiciary;

-lawful seizure of the direct channel;

- money laundering and tax evasion.

To this impressive list, Andrey Portnov promises to add more accusations of other, specific crimes of Petro Poroshenko. Also, the former Ukrainian president is a witness in the case of the massacre of people on the Maidan.

In conclusion, we can say that for five years of “chocolate life” as president, Petro Poroshenko may have to pay ten years of his freedom.
