Huawei decided to sue the United States

Recently we ReportedAs founder and CEO of Huawei Technologies, Ren Zhengfei said he was opposed to China’s possible retaliatory sanctions against Apple for banning its company from working in the United States. And now, it became known that Huawei has filed a lawsuit in the United States demanding to remove it from the “black list” and lift the ban on the purchase of components and of technologies American manufacturers. This is stated in the official statement of the Chinese telecommunications company.

It should be noted that over the past 15 years, the American telecommunications equipment manufacturer Cisco has fought fiercely with Huawei, which has lost its monopoly position in various regions of the planet. And in recent years, after the Chinese company actively entered the international smartphone market, the American company Apple is opposed to Huawei. And in fierce competition, US companies are really losing to Chinese companies.

That is why Huawei believes that the ban on the company’s activities in the United States is a “deprivation of public rights” and its goal is to displace a competitor from the huge market of this country. Huawei emphasized that such actions are directly prohibited by the US Constitution. In a statement, Huawei said that the Chinese company expects the US court to declare the ban unconstitutional, as well as making a decision to terminate its (ban) enforcement.

We remind you that the American authorities for years accused Huawei of collecting personal data of users, followed by transferring them to the Chinese authorities, as well as espionage. It got to the point that US President Donald Trump even introduced a state of emergency in the information technology field with his decree. After that, Huawei was included in the "black list" of companies that are prohibited from cooperating with US residents without a special license from the authorities.

After that, large US companies such as Google, Qualcomm, Xilinx and Broadcom, announced the termination of cooperation with Huawei. They promised that Huawei devices will not have their programs and components. After that, companies appeared in Europe and Asia, which supported the United States. However, many non-U.S. companies around the world have supported Huawei.
