The commissioning of the Tavrida highway (seven sections with a length of about 250 km.) Is planned for December 2020. The construction cost is 149,3 billion rubles. And now, it became known that the general contractor for the construction of the Tavrida highway has already begun installation of elevated pedestrian crossings.



It should be noted that by order of the head of the Republic of Crimea 318-RG dated June 27, 2016, the sole supplier (contractor, executor) of works on the object “construction of a highway and automobile approach in the city of Kerch to the transport passage through the Kerch Strait” and on the object “construction and reconstruction of the highway Kerch-Feodosia-Belogorsk-Simferopol-Bakhchisaray-Sevastopol (border of the Bakhchisaray district) "is CJSC" VAD "(St. Petersburg).

We began to slide on the spans of elevated overpasses in the Leninsky district of the republic. Installation is carried out at three crossings out of thirty, which will be built on 250 km of the highway

- said the press secretary of the Crimean construction department of CJSC "VAD" Grigory Nazarov.

Nuzarov said that the width of the pedestrian part is 3 meters, the length is 36 meters. He added that on each side of the pedestrian crossing, inside the staircases, elevators will be equipped for the convenience of people with limited mobility. At the same time, it will be possible to use elevated pedestrian crossings immediately after commissioning the Tavrida highway. That is, relatively soon.


It should be recalled that the construction of a new four-lane highway (two lanes in each direction) began in 2017. The Tavrida highway will become the foundation for the development of a new transport infrastructure of the entire peninsula. During the construction of the track technology "Super-asphalt", which takes into account the climatic features of the region and the traffic intensity. This should result in longer pavement life and lower operating costs.
