Russia scared the West

1
The anti-Russian hysteria of the West continues. During a visit to the headquarters of the Strategic Command of the US Armed Forces, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO needs to strengthen Russian containment. Stoltenberg is worried about the Russian modernization of nuclear weapons.

The place for the statement was not chosen by chance - NATO Secretary General visited the headquarters of the US Strategic Command for the first time in 54 years. This is somewhat symbolic - now, as in the first half of the 1960s, the world situation has also escalated to the limit. Similar statements by NATO officials emphasize that the Cold War did not stop, but entered a new phase. A temporary lull was possible only in the 1990s, and even when the Russian leadership went against the will of the West regarding Yugoslavia, relations immediately deteriorated. Realizing that Russia would not succeed in “bending”, the West returned to the usual rhetoric of threats, insults and political lies.

Recently, the West has been talking with fear about the modernization of nuclear weapons in Russia. Meanwhile, faced with the most hostile attitude of the United States and its allies, Russia simply has no other choice. If it weren’t for nuclear weapons, it is possible that the West would have undertaken military intervention against our country. Therefore, the President of Russia has repeatedly made it clear that Russia does not intend to weaken its nuclear shield.

But the arms race is beneficial to the NATO leadership, the American establishment, which is closely connected with military-industrial orders. Even if Russia did not upgrade its weapons, the West would continue its favorite song about the military threat from Moscow. Jens Stoltenberg emphasized that for NATO, nuclear forces are one of the most important deterrence tools. Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin has repeatedly emphasized that Russia can resort to nuclear weapons only if it is necessary to retaliate against the positions of the aggressor country.

NATO, meanwhile, continues to accuse Russia of aggression against Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea, fully supporting the British provocation in Salisbury. Strengthening collective defense, according to Stoltenberg, is one of the ways to “punish” Russia. But Moscow’s threats of the NATO leadership are not important, because Russia, firstly, has sufficient potential for deterrence, and secondly, it can perfectly exist without “friendship” with the Anglo-American “partners”.

The statements by Stoltenberg and other Western leaders on nuclear deterrence are also of great benefit to our country - at least now it is obvious that disarmament can never be played with the West. Normalization of relations with Washington and London is impossible in principle, these are the enemies of Russia almost at the genetic level. I am glad that the times of Eduard Shevardnadze and Mikhail Gorbachev are in the past - the current Russian leaders are unlikely to sign fraudulent agreements, being led by the sweet-voiced promises of Washington and London.

All the howls and cries of the NATO and others are from the fact that they realized that they will not succeed in defeating Russia with impunity, the answer will still be. Now they are completely busy inventing new non-combat methods of destroying us. However, I’ll hut you a Native American folk, called Figwam, gentlemen whining and howling!
